CALL FOR GRANTING GRANTS FOR THE REMOVAL OF ARCHITECTURAL BARRIERS IN PROPERTIES IN FIGUERES (2026)

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Individuals or legal entities that own properties that undertake (voluntarily, without being obliged by regulations) actions within any of the following lines of action may obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidies: - Group 1: the installation of conventional elevators (1st) or reduced speed elevators (*1b) in buildings that do not have an elevator, in the best accessibility conditions possible through reasonable adjustments. - Group 2: the replacement of elevators that have become obsolete (machinery, cabin and/or doors) or the implementation of improvements that allow adaptation to current regulations. - Group 3: the execution of ramps and/or elimination of steps, the installation of stair lifts or other accessibility devices that process the corresponding request in accordance with the requirements established in this call. actions corresponding to the removal of architectural barriers that are in the course of execution may be carried out between January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2027. In the case of group 2 (renovation of existing elevators), if once the requests corresponding to the generic deadline have been attended to, the budget allocation is still available, actions carried out between January 1, 2020 and 31 will be eligible for aid. Object The following may not be subject to subsidy: a) Those properties for which the Figueres City Council has in process or has resolved, in the four years prior to the publication of the call in execution of these bases, any file for violation of urban planning regulations. (Assuming that it has not been satisfactorily resolved as of the date of the call). b) The properties subject to a ruin declaration file. c) The properties that have to be expropriated. All actions and works will have to guarantee their technical and constructive coherence with the state of conservation of the building as well as their effective contribution to improving the conditions of use and safety. Third. Regulatory bases The bases approved by the Local Government Board in an ordinary session held on November 12, 2020 (BOP of Girona no. 229, dated November 27, 2020). Room. Amount The subsidies subject to this call are financed from budget applications 2026 301 15220 78002, 2026 301R3 15220 78002 and 2026 301R4 15220 78002 called “AID TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY FOR ELEVATORS AND OTHERS (FA)”, and the total amount of two hundred eighty thousand euros (€280,000.00) is allocated. In order to meet a greater number of subsidy applications, this credit may be expanded with an additional amount, of a maximum of eighty thousand euros (€80,000.00), prior approval of the corresponding credit modification. The effectiveness of the additional amount will be conditioned on the corresponding declaration of credit availability prior to the resolution of the subsidies and the approval of the increase in the call. (Article 58.2 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, by which the Subsidies Regulation is approved). Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications Applications may be submitted within a period of 45 DAYS starting from the day following the publication of the call to the BOP (through the BDNS). Sixth. Other information Subsidies are awarded on a competitive basis, through the competition and single call system. Requirements to apply for the subsidy Have the status of beneficiary based on what is established in point 1.3 of this call and that the following conditions and requirements are met: - The beneficiaries must be up to date with their obligations with Social Security and the Treasury and not be in any of the circumstances provided for in art. 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. - The City Council may establish, if necessary, through a report from the municipal technical services, the necessary or essential actions for a correct and proportionate intervention. Failure to comply will result in the denial or loss of the subsidy, partial or total, and the refund of the amounts received, if necessary. - The budget, for the purposes of calculating the subsidy, is made up of
