1. Purpose of the subsidy. The objective of this Scholarship is to promote culture and the dissemination of music in the Basque Country, especially in the field of higher musical education. 2. Requirements to apply for the subsidy The contest is open to participants of all ages and nationalities who are enrolled and studying in the specialties of Performance (Classical and Jazz) at Musikene, the Higher Music Center of the Basque Country. Students enrolled in Musikene in the fourth year of the Degree and in the Masters of Performance respectively (Master of Orchestral Studies, Master of Musical Performance and Master of Performance - Jazz) will be eligible for the award. The studies for which the Scholarship is requested must be carried out in the 2026/2027 academic year. Applicants must provide a brief resume and a program with a free repertoire of a maximum duration of ten minutes. The program must consist of at least works, or movements of works, of different styles. The works that require it must be carried out with a companion and the candidates must provide their own partner. Submission to the Scholarship implies full acceptance of the rules. 3. Amount of the subsidy Two types of awards are established: -A scholarship worth €3,300 for Master's students -A scholarship worth €2,200 for undergraduate students. 4. Deadline and place for submitting applications Once these bases are approved, the BDNS will be sent for subsequent publication in the Official Gazette of Gipuzkoa. They will also be published on the Beasain City Council website and sent to Musikene for publication on its website. Deadline: The deadline for receiving applications will be November 6, 2026.
