Extract from the call:By Resolution No. CGC/2026/5229 of the Ministry of the Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security, of May 13, 2026, the “CALL FOR THE YEAR 2026 FOR SUBSIDIES FROM THE COUNCIL OF THE PRIMARY SECTOR, FOOD SOVEREIGNTY was approved AND WATER SECURITY OF THE COUNCIL OF GRAN CANARIA FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE PROFESSIONALIZATION AND DIVERSIFICATION OF ACTIVITIES IN THE ARTISAN FISHING SECTOR OF GRAN CANARIA”Given by the Counselor of the Primary Sector, Food Sovereignty and Water Security in Las Palmasde Gran Canaria, on the date of the electronic signature, of all of which, as Head of the Body of Support to the Island Government Council, in the exercise of the function of PUBLIC FAITH included in the current wording of the eighth additional provision of Law 7/1985, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, I CONFIRM the appearance of legality of the administrative act that I sign and that is transcribed, in an automated manner, in the electronic Book of Decrees and Resolutions in guarantee of its authenticity and integrity. Recipient: Fishermen's guilds and sea cooperatives based in Gran Canaria may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated in this call, in which the following requirements are met. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to contribute to the professionalization of the fishing sector, through the training and/or outsourcing of specialized technical and/or professional services, as well as to facilitate the development of complementary economic activities of diversification, generating in the associative fishing entities the capacity to develop and execute the operations entrusted to them by their members. Regulatory Bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. Amount: 120,000.00 euros. Deadline for submitting applications: Applications to qualify for this call will be submitted within a period of TWENTY (20) BUSINESS DAYS, counting from the day following the day on which the extract of this call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas.
