First Text. Beneficiary entities and requirements Associations and non-profit entities that meet, on the closing date of the application submission period, the following requirements may apply for the subsidies subject to this call: a) Be legally constituted and registered in the Galician Registry of Associations and, where applicable, have all their registration data updated. Any modification that has occurred since your registration or last update must be communicated in writing to the Department of Equality along with the application. b) Be registered in the Municipal Registry of Associations of the Santiago de Compostela City Council prior to the publication of this call and keep their data updated, in accordance with the provisions of article 17 of the Citizen Participation Regulation. c) Lack of profit motive. d) Mainly develop its activities in the municipality of Santiago de Compostela. e) Be up to date, where applicable, with the justification of subsidies previously granted by the Santiago de Compostela City Council. f) Be up to date in compliance with your tax obligations with the Santiago de Compostela City Council, the State Tax Administration Agency and the regional Treasury, as well as with Social Security. Likewise, they must be up to date with the reimbursement of subsidies granted by the City Council, when applicable. g) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions or incompatibilities provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. h) Those entities in which any of the circumstances provided for in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, or in sections 2 and 3 of article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, may not obtain the status of beneficiaries. i) Have expressly included in its statutes, as an object or among its institutional purposes, the promotion of effective equality between women and men and/or the defense of the rights and freedoms of people and the LGBTIQ+ collective. j) Accredit the legal representation of the person acting on behalf of the entity. k) Have headquarters, registered office or permanent delegation in the municipality of Santiago de Compostela. A permanent delegation will be understood as one that has permanent staff and a fixed location for the development of its activities, as well as a sufficient organizational structure to guarantee the fulfillment of its social purposes. l) Additionally, comply with any other requirement provided for in article 13 of the General Subsidies Law. All of these requirements must be maintained throughout the 2026 financial year. Applications submitted by entities that do not meet all of the requirements on the closing date of the submission period will not be accepted for processing. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to subsidize programs and activities aimed at promoting effective equality between women and men, equal treatment and rights of LGBTIQ+ people and the prevention and eradication of sexist violence.
