1. OBJECT. The purpose of this call is to establish the criteria and procedures for the awarding of the short novel prize “Cidade Centenaria de Ribeira” 2. PARTICIPANTS. All people of legal age, of any nationality and residence, with a single work in the Galician language, with a free, original and unpublished theme, may participate in the short novel contest. They must be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations, and not be subject to any of the exclusions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. 3. REGULATORY BASES. Ordinance regulating the prize of the Curta Cidade Centenaria de Ribeira International Novel Contest, published in the BOP of A Coruña on May 29, 2018. 4. BUDGET. The City Council of Ribeira will allocate a total of three thousand euros (€3,000.00) to the award of the prize, which will be allocated to budget application 334.48000. 5. PLACE AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS. 5.1.- Place of presentation. The works, citing “XI Concurso Novela Curta Cidade Centenaria de Ribeira” will be sent to: Concello de Ribeira, Rexistro Xeral. Á/a of the Culture Area, Praza do Concello, s/n, 15960, Ribeira, A Coruña, Spain. The works must meet the formal requirements provided for in the Regulatory Bases. 5.2.- Submission deadline. The submission period will begin the day following the publication of this extract of the call in the Official Provincial Gazette, and will end on March 23, 2027.
