REGULATORY BASES AND CALL THAT WILL GOVERN THE URGENT SOCIAL PROTECTION AID OF THE CORIA CITY COUNCIL 2026

Official description of the call

FIRST.- PURPOSE The purpose of these bases is to establish the rules that must govern urgent social protection aid for the year 2026 and the obligations derived from it, which will be processed by the Basic Social Care Social Service of the Coria City Council. SECOND.- REQUIREMENTS 1. Persons who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of urgent social protection aid: a) Be of legal age or who, even if they are minors, are absolute orphans or are emancipated, by judicial concession or by those who exercise parental authority. b) Be registered and reside legally and effectively in Coria for a minimum of six months immediately prior to the date of entry of the application in the General Registry of the City Council. c) Lack of sufficient income or income. 2. The requirements established in paragraphs a) and b) of the previous section will only be required of the applicant. 3. The following income or income received by any of the members of the cohabitation unit is excluded from the calculation: a) The economic benefit linked to the service and the economic benefit of personal assistance, established in articles 17 and 19 of Law 39/2006, of December 14, on the Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for people in a situation of dependency. b) The family benefit for a child or dependent minor under 18 years of age or older and who is affected by a disability equal to or greater than 65% disability. c) Scholarships and study aid granted by any of the Public Administrations. d) Individualized aid for transportation and/or school dining in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and public aid to cover transportation, accommodation and maintenance expenses, obtained by attending occupational training actions. 4. This aid may not be granted to those who: a) Live in centers that belong to institutions or entities that are obliged to meet the basic subsistence needs of their residents or are permanently admitted to a residential center or center of a social, health, or socio-health nature, whether public, subsidized or private. b) They temporarily live at the same address for study reasons. c) They have not duly justified the aid granted, for reasons attributable to the beneficiaries. 5. All requirements must be met at the time of submission of the aid application and during the receipt of aid. 6. The granting of urgent social protection aid will be compatible with the receipt of other public or private benefits, subsidies or aid that have the same purpose, provided that the total amount paid, individually or in conjunction with the other benefits, subsidies or aid, does not exceed the billed expense. THIRD.- TYPE OF AID TO BE GRANTED 1. Aid intended to meet basic needs, understood as financial aid aimed at covering basic food expenses (dairy, eggs, meat, fish, vegetables and fruits) and personal and domestic hygiene. NUMBER OF MEMBERS MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF AID Up to 2 members €200.00 Between 3 and 4 members €300.00 5 or more members €400.00 2. Aid for basic clothing and footwear, diapers, infant milk and basic household items. NUMBER OF MEMBERS MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF AID Up to 2 members €150.00 Between 3 and 4 members €250.00 5 or more members €350.00 3. Orthoses and prostheses, up to a maximum of €200. 4. Household supplies. Water, electricity and gas. NUMBER OF MEMBERS MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF AID Up to 2 members €85.00 Between 3 and 4 members €95.00 5 or more members €110.00 5. Rent or mortgage, for a maximum monthly amount of €300. 6. Alternative accommodation. The maximum amounts to be paid will be €600. 7. Complementary aid for the acquisition of books, school supplies and electronic devices. The applicant family may receive a maximum of 80 euros per minor, once the deficiencies accredited by the Educational Centers are known and once their aid releases have been resolved by them. FOURTH.- APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION 1. An application (ANNEX I) and the necessary documentation that proves the alleged circumstances of possible valuation will be submitted. 2.
