Official description of the call

FIRST. PURPOSE This line aims to regulate the granting, on a competitive basis, of subsidies intended to finance projects promoted by young people or aimed at the youth population of the island of Tenerife, as well as to establish their call. The following purposes are pursued with this call: • Promote active youth participation. • Promote young leadership in the social, cultural, environmental, technological and community spheres. • Support youth entrepreneurship and social innovation. • Dynamize youth life in the island's municipalities. • Strengthen co-responsibility and territorial cohesion in youth matters. Excluded in any case are those actions that promote racism, xenophobia, violence against women, LGTBIphobia or other behaviors contrary to the legal system or democratic values, as well as those actions that encourage the consumption of substances, drugs, alcohol or similar, by young people SECOND. BENEFICIARIES Three modalities are established, each aimed at specific people, entities or groups: A. MODALITY A – Private companies: self-employed people, microenterprises or SMEs, cooperatives or labor companies. B. MODALITY B – Non-profit entities: youth associations and any other non-profit associations or entities with their own legal personality, duly constituted and registered in accordance with applicable legislation. C. MODALITY C – Informal youth groups: youth groups of between 3 and 10 people (between 18 and 35 years old), without their own legal personality; They must appoint a representative person with whom the actions will be understood and who will receive the payment, and formulate a commitment of joint responsibility. THIRD. REGULATORY BASES Approved by agreement of the Island Government Council of the Hon. Cabildo de Tenerife, in ordinary session held on June 3, 2026 (AC0000027982). ROOM. BAREMATION CRITERIA The amount of the aid to be granted to each beneficiary city council will be calculated by distributing the requested credit in equal parts among the total number of beneficiaries, up to the maximum of the amount requested or declared eligible, where applicable. If, due to the application of this maximum eligible limit, there is a surplus of credit requested and any of the actions declared eligible have been carried out by the beneficiary town council during the last twenty (20) years, and this is duly accredited in the report submitted with the application, the surplus amount will be distributed among the beneficiary town councils that are in this situation, until the maximum eligible amount is reached. If there is a surplus, it will be distributed equally among the rest of the beneficiary municipalities. FIFTH. AMOUNT These aids will be financed for a total amount of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (€150,000.00), of which ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€100,000.00) will be used to cover the subsidies granted in modality A, and FIFTY THOUSAND EUROS (€50,000.00) will be used to cover the subsidies granted in modality B and C, according to the following breakdown: MODALITY A: BUDGET APPLICATION 26 1012 3373 47900; AMOUNT €100,000.00 MODALITY B and C: BUDGET APPLICATION 1012 3373 48940; AMOUNT €50,000.00 SIXTH. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS The call is carried out on an open basis. The deadline for submitting applications will be A. Ten (10) business days counting from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the extract of the call. B. From September 1 to September 14, 2026, both inclusive. The documentation that must accompany the application will be the following: A. Report in accordance with the standardized model contained as Annex I to this document. B.
