Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: The Spanish Red Cross and the entities defined in article 2 of Law 43/2015, of October 9, of the Third Sector of Social Action that meet the requirements established in the Regulatory Bases and detailed in the Resolution approving the call will be able to access the status of beneficiaries of this aid. In the case of federations, confederations or similar legal entities, they must specify in the application the entity or entities that will execute the projects. The executing entities will act in the name and on behalf of the requesting entity and will also be considered beneficiaries. Groups, without legal personality, of entities and organizations provided for in the previous section may also be beneficiaries of these subsidies, as provided for in article 11.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second. Purpose: The purpose of these subsidies is to finance investment projects, of a structural nature, of non-profit entities that favor the carrying out of activities of general interest for social purposes within the framework of the Catalog of Benefits of the Public System of Social Services of the Principality of Asturias, developed outside of market conditions and without significant economic compensation on the part of the users, in order to promote a positive social impact in the medium and long term. It will be understood that investment projects favor the carrying out of activities of general interest for social purposes within the framework of the Catalog of Benefits of the Public System of Social Services of the Principality of Asturias when the purposes of the requesting entity, expressly included in its statutes, are accommodated to the areas of action defined in the Catalog of Benefits of the Public System of Social Services, approved by Decree 74/2022, of 2 December. The following lines of investment are considered eligible actions for the purposes of this call: Line 1: Reform, expansion, improvement, modernization, adaptation, adaptation and/or rehabilitation or repair of centers intended for the provision of social services within the framework of the Catalog of Benefits of the Public System of Social Services of the Principality of Asturias. Included are the acquisition of properties for these purposes and new construction projects of spaces that are not in operation or that are going to change use Line 2: Acquisition or improvement of equipment and/or furniture for centers intended for the provision of social services within the framework of the Catalog of Benefits of the Public System of Social Services of the Principality of Asturias.
