Official description of the call
1. Applicable regulations: Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, The General Subsidies Ordinance of the Villa de Breña Alta City Council, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in a session held on October 13, 2005, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 197, of December 7, 2005 and Mayor's Resolution No. 2026-0324 of March 18, 2026, which approves the City Council's Strategic Subsidy Plan for the year 2026, as well as the specific Bases that govern the Call for aid for the movement of students outside the Island, approved by the Local Government Board, in a session held on August 20, 2025 (BOP no. 102, of 25 August 2025).2. Budget credit: The aid will be financed from budget item 326-48101, for an amount of €90,000. Aid will be granted until the aforementioned item is exhausted, applying the assessment criteria established in Base Eight, with a minimum amount of €150.3. Object, conditions and purpose of the subsidy: The purpose of this Call is to grant, on a competitive basis, aid to students residing in the municipality of Breña Alta, who are studying at Universities or other Educational Centers located outside the island of La Palma, in person and corresponding to first, second and third cycle university studies, as well as Vocational Training, Artistic Education, Languages, Sports and other studies that cannot be carried out in public centers thereof.4. Beneficiaries: Persons interested in granting aid must meet the following requirements: a) Be registered in the municipality of Villa de Breña Alta, at least six months before the end of the application submission period. Documentation to be submitted: Applications must be submitted in accordance with the official model (Annex I), stating that they meet each and every one of the requirements to be beneficiaries, specified in the Second Base, within the period and place established in the Fourth and Fifth Bases, respectively, accompanied by the following documentation: a) Document proving that the applicant student is enrolled in the Center and academic year for which he/she is requesting the aid. b) Photocopy of the valid ID of the student. applicant/a.c) Third Party Registration duly completed, according to the model provided by the City Council of the Villa de Breña Alta (Annex II), through the Municipal Website www.balta.org (Trámites y Gestiones), in the electronic headquarters http://www.balta.org/TramitesFiles/T00002.pdf and in the Public Service Office. In accordance with the provisions of article 28 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, the applicant may omit the presentation of general documentation (sections b and c) that are already in the possession of the City Council.6. Deadline and place for submitting applications: Applications will be submitted within ONE MONTH, counting from the month following the publication of the extract of the Call in the Official Gazette of the Province, preferably through the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council, or at the General Registry located at C/ Blas Pérez Glez nº 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. As well as or in the Records referred to in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, accompanied by the documentation specified in the Third Base. 7. Bodies competent for the investigation and resolution of the file: The competence for the investigation of the application files will correspond to the Employment and Local Development Agency, with the Local Government Board being the Body competent to resolve the procedure.8. Application evaluation criteria: The priority of the applications will be made, for all those that meet the requirements specified in the Second Base, as follows: Once the minimum amount defined in the Seventh Base has been assigned and, where applicable, the remainder of the budget item consigned in each Call, will be prorated, up to a maximum
