Official description of the call
FIRST.- OBJECT AND SCOPE.- The purpose of these rules is to regulate, in general, the regime and procedure applicable for the granting of subsidies, in competitive competition, in favor of associations, entities and citizen groups, whose purpose is the organization of Popular Festivals within the framework of the MUNICIPAL PROGRAM OF POPULAR VERBENAS 2026, in the period between June 1 and October 12, 2026 (both inclusive), being able to subsidize festivals already held. SECOND.- BENEFICIARY ENTITIES Associations and other entities that, being legally constituted, non-profit, are registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities at the end of the application submission period may be beneficiaries of the subsidies granted under these rules. Those applications will be accepted in which non-profit associations/entities, during the processing of the procedure, have requested their registration in the Registry of Citizen Entities of the Córdoba City Council. Entities that meet any of the following circumstances will not be able to obtain the status of beneficiary of the subsidies: a) Those that are in any of the exclusion cases for obtaining public aid referred to in article thirteen, sections a), b), c), d), f) and h) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. b) Those who are not up to date with compliance with municipal, state and Social Security tax obligations, as provided for in articles eighteen and nineteen of the Subsidies Regulation, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006 of July twenty-first. c) Those that are not up to date with the payment of obligations for reimbursement of subsidies under the terms of article twenty-one of the aforementioned Regulation. d) Those for which the subsidies previously granted have not been justified, provided that the period for justifying said subsidies has ended. THIRD.- REGULATORY BASES.- General framework that regulates the 2026 call for subsidies for Popular Festivals. The aforementioned bases can be consulted on the Electronic Notice Board and on the Córdoba City Council Website. FOURTH.- BUDGET CREDIT.- The amount destined to subsidize the Festivals for this call is €40,000.00, charged to item Z C20 3381 48906 0 (FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS. OTHER TRANSFERS. VERBENAS) of the current budget. FIFTH.- AMOUNT.- The maximum amount of the subsidy for Popular Festivals will be €3,000.00. A single association may not receive more than one subsidy per year within the framework of this call. The City Council of Córdoba, in the Verbenas requests, reserves the possibility of prorating among the selected projects the budgetary expenditure assigned for this call, even exceeding, thereby, the limit of 3,000.00 euros provided for in the previous paragraph. SIXTH.- PRESENTATION OF APPLICATIONS.- The term of this call will be 20 business days, starting from the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province. They will be displayed on the Announcement Board of the Excmo. Córdoba City Council (https://sede.cordoba.es/cordoba/tablon-de-anuncios), as well as on the Fairs and Celebrations Website (https://feriasyfiestas.cordoba.es/
