Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries. 1. People who meet any of the following requirements may apply for this call: a) Be a Research Staff assigned to the Criminology Research Center of the UCLM: Predoctoral trainee contracted (PIF). b) Having been a student of the Master's Degree in Criminology and Juvenile Delinquency at the University of Castilla-La Mancha during the 2025/2026 academic year and having collaborated with some of the active lines of research in the Criminology Research Center. c) Having been a student of the Doctorate in Criminology at the University of Castilla-La Mancha during the 2025/2026 academic year and having collaborated with some of the active lines of research in the Criminology Research Center. d) Be a member of the work or research team of a competitive project of a research group attached to the UCLM Criminology Research Center. 2. Applicants must also meet two additional requirements: a) Meet the requirements both on the last day of submission of applications and on the date of the training course or scientific conference. b) Not be subject to the prohibitions for obtaining the status of beneficiary of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. The beneficiary must be up to date with their legal, tax and Social Security obligations. Second. Object. Financial funds are provided for the granting of aid to finance the tuition fees corresponding to specialized training courses that contribute to the acquisition and improvement of skills for criminological research, as well as the expenses derived from participation in scientific conferences in the criminological field for the presentation and dissemination of the results generated by the research groups assigned to the Center. Regulated studies will not be eligible for aid, including expenses derived from doctoral courses and academic supervision of the doctoral thesis, nor those training courses included in the training offer of the UCLM Training Unit. Registration and tuition fees will be eligible for training courses on the topics indicated in the first base of the full text of the call. The training courses must be carried out during the 2025-2026 academic year. Eligible expenses for congresses are: registration for the congress, conference, training course, workshops, etc.; travel, accommodation and maintenance; article and poster printing costs. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory bases that form part of the full text of the call. Room. Amount of aid. The budget for this call amounts to 2,000 euros. The maximum gross amount of each aid is 500 euros per applicant for expenses. If the justified amount is less than said limit, the aid will be equal to the justified expense. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will remain open from the date of signing the call until November 2, 2026. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
