Official description of the call
First.- Call for TFG, TFM and Doctoral Theses Awards 2025/26 in Cybersecurity are announced within the framework of the Binter-University of La Laguna Cybersecurity Chair. Second.- Purpose In order to contribute to the research and dissemination of academic works that contribute to its mission, the Chair agrees to promote, recognize and reward those Works of special originality and quality approved at the ULL in any of the calls for the 2025/26 Academic Year, on the subject of Cybersecurity. Although this subsidy, for unforeseen legal and organizational reasons, is not provided for in the ULL Strategic Subsidy Plan, it guarantees full adaptation to the current legal framework and ensures the continuity of an activity that essentially contributes to the public interest objectives of the University, promoting excellence and the transfer of knowledge. Likewise, it contributes to the promotion of research and innovation activity among ULL students in the topics that are the objective of the Chair, as well as the dissemination of the results of work already carried out and the stimulation of future academic work that contributes to promoting the activities of the Chair. Third.- Beneficiaries The students whose Final Degree Projects, Final Master's Projects and Doctoral Theses have been defended and passed in the 2025/26 Academic Year. Fourth.- Awards Three prizes will be awarded to the best works presented in the “Cybersecurity” category. • A prize for the best TFG will be endowed with €500, a prize for the best TFM will be endowed with €500 and a prize for the best TD will be endowed with €1,000. The assigned budget key is 1804022518 455A2 48701, chapter IV, for a total amount of €2,000. All winners will receive the corresponding accreditation diploma. The prizes will be subject to personal income tax withholding as established by current legislation. The call will be resolved before the budget closing of the 2026 financial year. Fifth.- Form of presentation of applications The place of presentation will be through the General Application for the Electronic Headquarters of the ULL https://sede.ull.es/ecivilis-site/catalog/showProcedure/229, as established in the Regulations of the electronic headquarters of the University of La Laguna approved by the Governing Council of February 4, 2025, providing the required documentation.
