V Edition of the UV Youth Chair award for the best End of Cycle, End of Degree, End of Master's and Doctoral Thesis work on youth

Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries: Students or graduates of any official degree from higher-level training cycles and from Spanish universities who have presented their final project (TFC), final degree project (TFG), final master's project (TFM) or doctoral thesis (TD) during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years, on aspects linked to the analysis of youth and intervention in young people between 12 and 30, can participate. years and have obtained a minimum score of 8 out of 10. In addition, it will be a requirement of the call that the works have not been previously submitted to the Youth Chair Award of the University of Valencia. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this competition is to award the best final academic dissertation (TFC), final degree dissertation (TFG), final master's dissertation (TFM) or doctoral thesis (TD), defended during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 academic years that are presented as candidates for this call. The purpose of this award is to encourage, among students of Higher Education and University Training Cycles, studies related to the analysis of youth and intervention in young people between 12 and 30 years old. Works aimed at boys and girls under 12 years of age (including works carried out in primary education) are excluded, even if they have older participants. Third. Amount: Four modalities are established for the prize: - a prize for the best final year dissertation in the amount of €300 - a prize for the best final degree dissertation in the amount of €400 - a prize for the best final master's dissertation in the amount of €500 - a prize for the best doctoral thesis in the amount of €1000 The monetary prize will be subject to the corresponding personal income tax withholding based on current regulations. This award is compatible with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, for the same purpose. The tutors or directors of the awarded works, if they request it, will receive an accreditation certificate from the Chair in recognition of their teaching work. Fifth. Application submission deadline: Applications may be submitted from the day following the publication of the extract of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) until September 15, 2026.
