Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. People who meet all the requirements indicated in the fifth base of the full text of the call may apply for this call, among which it is worth highlighting: 1. Academic requirements: people who meet the following academic requirements may participate in this call: a. Be enrolled in a doctoral program at the UCLM in the 2026-2027 academic year at the time of submitting the applications. This data will be downloaded from the International Doctoral School database. b. Alternatively, they may prove that at the time of submitting the applications they are in possession of a master's degree that gives access to a doctoral program in the 2026-2027 academic year, in accordance with the applicable academic regulation, or in possession of a degree degree with Meces3 level. 2. Requirements related to the date of completion of the studies Applicants for the Training of Research Personnel (FPI) Modality must have completed the studies corresponding to the degree they present in compliance with the academic requirements, degree degree or equivalent, after the dates indicated below: a. January 1, 2021 for degree studies or equivalent according to RD822/2021. b. On January 1, 2017 in the following cases: - Those who are in possession of the official title of any of the specialties contemplated in Royal Decree 183/2008, of February 8, by which the specialties in Health Sciences are determined and classified and certain aspects of the specialized health training system are developed. - Those who, while they have been pursuing the aforementioned university studies, have dedicated themselves to the care and care of children under six years of age between January 1, 2017 and January 1, 2021. - Those who have interrupted their studies due to a serious illness or have dedicated themselves to caring for older people in the family on the parental front line. c. The period for completing studies indicated in section a) will be extended by two years, with respect to those who suffer from a disability equal to or greater than 33 percent. 3. The guarantors must be doctors with an official or contractual relationship with the UCLM on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the aid and will necessarily belong to one of the following groups: i. UCLM Teaching and Research Staff. ii. UCLM Doctoral Research Staff whose contract is valid during the entire period of the predoctoral contract or there is a commitment to employment and stabilization (Personnel with a doctoral researcher access contract, Distinguished Researchers, Staff from the Beatriz Galindo, Ramon y Cajal programs, or similar). iii. CSIC research staff assigned to joint centers or CSIC-UCLM associated units, provided they carry out their work in UCLM centers. In addition, they must appear as director of the thesis at the UCLM International Doctoral School at the time of formalizing the contract, among other requirements. Second. Object. Financial funds are provided to promote the training of university graduates in the UCLM doctoral programs through the completion of quality doctoral theses. To this end, the aim is to formalize predoctoral contracts in any area of scientific knowledge, which is aligned with the priority and transversal areas of science established by Horizon Europe and the Smart Specialization Strategy of Castilla-La Mancha S3. This action will be co-financed through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 Program of Castilla-La Mancha through Priority 3. At least 60% of the aid will be directed towards priority areas of science aligned with those identified at the European level. The rest of the aid (40% maximum) will be oriented towards regional priorities and areas defined within the framework of the region's S3 strategy. Three modalities are established: training of research personnel, training of university professors and support for the incorporation of talent. The purpose of the contract will be to promote the completion of doctoral theses within a UCLM Doctoral Program, within the scope of a specific and innovative project: 1.
