Enguera City Council has decided to launch on an annual basis (subject to the existence of a budget) an initiative of a marked social nature, called Baby/Local Business Check. It aims to help families with the expenses linked to the birth, adoption or fostering of a new member, while promoting and energizing small businesses in Enguera. Based on the above, the following call is regulated - FIRST PURPOSE. the granting of a subsidy, on a competitive basis, of financial aid, called “BABY CHECK 2026”, intended for families to cover expenses related to birth, legal adoption or foster care. The aid regulated in this call will be granted on a competitive basis in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies and Article 5 of the Law. OGS. SECOND. - BENEFICIARIES / RECIPIENTS AND REQUIREMENTS a) The beneficiaries will be the parents, adopters or foster parents of children in accordance with art 3 of the OGS who are in the situation that legitimizes their granting and who meet the following requirements: The date of birth, adoption or fostering of the baby must be between January 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026. The Enguera City Council intends to open, whenever funds exist, an annual call for aid b) The minor must be registered in Enguera and live with the applicant parent, adopter or foster child, who must have been registered in the municipality for 4 months, at the time of birth or at the beginning of cohabitation in the case of adoption or fostering. Spanish or foreigner with legal residence in Spain Foreigners residing in Enguera may benefit from this benefit as long as they meet the conditions of Organic Law 4/2000, on the Rights and Freedoms of Foreigners in Spain, and the requirements.
