Official description of the call

First.-Beneficiaries The persons or entities that produce cheeses in the province whose products are produced in establishments, with a business name in the province of Malaga, legally authorized according to current regulations and must be duly registered in the General Sanitary Registry of Food and Food Companies of the Junta de Andalucía as well as in the Registry of Agri-Food Industries. Second. Objective To promote and improve the image and position in the market of Malaga cheeses, stimulate the production of artisan cheeses and disseminate among consumers the main qualities of the area's cheeses, within the framework of promoting and supporting the economic development of the province. Third.- Regulatory Bases Plenary Agreement of March 20, 2024, Point no. 0.1.1.- Final approval of the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Málaga, annex V.27 published in the BOP of April 30, 2024. Fourth.- Amount The amount of the call is €29,200.00. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga, although in the event that the last day of the deadline is a non-business day, the completion will be moved to the immediately following business day. Sixth.- Others a) Awards 1. Award for “Best Semi-cured Goat Cheese in the Province of Málaga”. 2. “Best Fresh Goat Cheese from the Province of Malaga” Award. 3. Award for “Best Cured Goat Cheese made with raw milk from the Province of Malaga”. 4. Award for “Best Cured Goat Cheese made with pasteurized milk from the Province of Malaga”. 5. “Best Soft Goat Cheese from the Province of Málaga” Award. 6. “Best Innovative Goat Cheese” Award. 7. “Best Goat Cheese with Covering” Award. The prize will consist of the acquisition by the Malaga Provincial Council, organizer of the Awards, of each of the winning cheeses for an amount of €4,000.00. This amount will be the maximum amount of the acquisition due to the different costs of the cheeses. If, as indicated in point 6 of the Sixth Rule: Selection and evaluation of samples by the Jury, there is a prize awarded ex aequo, the maximum amount will be the result of dividing the aforementioned amount by the number of cheeses awarded in said modality. In the same way, there may be special mentions or second prizes that will be awarded with the acquisition of said cheeses for the amount of €1,200, an amount that will be assigned to a single special mention or second prize awarded in all the modalities, if this is the case. b) Documentation The application submission process may be carried out through the specific instance at the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council, “sede.malaga.es/catalogo-de-tramites”, Presentation of Applications for Best Goat Cheese Awards of the Province, in case of being a subject obliged to interact with the administrations through electronic means (in accordance with article 14 of the aforementioned Law), as well as in any of the electronic records referred to in the Article 2.1 of Law 39/2015 (General State Administration (https://rec.redsara.es/) Administration of the Autonomous Communities, Entities that make up the local Administration, public organizations and entities that make up the institutional public sector). In the case of not being obliged (natural person), the documentation must be presented to the Registration Assistance Office, either in person or by sending it by postal mail. In the latter case, the participating entities must send the applications (Annex I), along with the attached documentation, to the Agri-Food and Livestock Promotion Unit. An application (Annex I) will be submitted for each cheese submitted to the competition, with Annexes II, III and IV submitted along with only one of them. Once the application and other documentation has been submitted, if it presents defects or is incomplete, it will be required by means of a notice published on the notice board of the Corporation, as well as on the website (www.malaga.es) and the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Malaga, so that within a period of ten business days (starting from the day following the date of publication of the aforementioned notice) said defects are corrected, with the indication that if this is not done
