EXTRACT ORDER of the Department of Justice, Interior and Public Administration, approving the regulatory bases and the call for granting aid to natural or legal persons linked to the bullfighting world for the organization of commemorative events of the Joaquín Sorolla Year during 2023. 1.- Purpose of the aid. Subsidize the organization of a set of public events aimed at commemorating, from a bullfighting perspective, the “Joaquín Sorolla Year”. These public events will be held in the municipalities of the Valencian Community that request it during the year 2023. The granting of the subsidies will be carried out through the competitive competition procedure to 2.- Beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of this aid will be natural or legal persons linked to the bullfighting world, both bullfighting and traditional bullfighting celebrations (bous al carrer). 3.- Eligible expenses. Expenses derived from the organization and execution of the events. Advertising expenses and expenses for activities linked to the bullfighting world that derive from those carried out and that correspond to the purpose of the subsidy. 4.- Subcontracting. The organization of events as subsidized activities cannot be subcontracted. 5. Eligible amount and financing. The maximum amount of the subsidy may cover up to 100% of the eligible expenses assumed by the beneficiary entity, and in any case it may not be higher than the amount provided for in the budgets of the Generalitat. 6. Budget allocation. The amount allocated amounts to 25,440 euros (Line S9107000 of the budgets of the Generalitat). 7.- Submission of applications. 1. Applications for aid will be submitted within a period of 15 business days to be counted from the day following the publication of this Order in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana. Requests will be directed to the Autonomous Secretariat of Security and Emergencies. 8.- Assessment. Applications will be evaluated by an Assessment Commission. Once the evaluation process is concluded, the evaluation commission will issue a concession proposal in which the result of the evaluation carried out is specified. 9.- Resolution. The granting of the subsidy will be made by resolution of the head of the Autonomous Secretariat of Security and Emergencies. The maximum period for resolution and notification will be two months from the publication of the Order of bases and call. 10.- Deadline for execution of the actions. The actions will always be carried out within the calendar year of 2023 without their extension to the year 2024. Within this framework, the actions carried out in 2023 before the entry into force of this Order will be eligible as long as they comply with the provisions of this Order. The beneficiaries of aid for eligible activities and concepts will have to justify their execution by submitting the corresponding documentation to the Autonomous Secretariat for Security and Emergencies. 12- Payment Payment of the subsidy awarded will be made after the presentation of the supporting documentation that proves the completion of all the events in the different planned municipalities.
