Announcement from the Most Excellent Valencia City Council on the extract of the Agreement of September 29, 2023 of the Local Government Board of the Valencia City Council, which approves the CALL FOR SUBSIDIES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE LANDSCAPE OF THE VALENCIA ORCHARD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VALENCIA In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/719143): First. Beneficiary Persons: Persons in the agricultural sector (both individuals and legal entities) who meet all of the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid provided for in this Call: a) Be a professional farmer, in accordance with the definition contained in Law 19/1995, of July 4, on the modernization of agricultural holdings. b) Be registered with the treasury and with Social Security in the corresponding regime, with a minimum seniority of 6 months. c) Be up to date in compliance with your tax obligations and/or with the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), as well as not have outstanding debt with the Valencia city council. d) Not be subject to any of the circumstances included in article 13.2 and 13.3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. e) Be the owner of an agricultural holding, for which aid is requested, with more than 50% of the surface linked to the strict scope of the orchard defined by Law 5/2018 of the Horta de València, under a regime of ownership, lease or precarious transfer. f) That the lands eligible for the application are in production. g) Submit a single application per farmer to the call. h) Have the tax residence established in the municipality of València, although part of the plots linked to the exploitation are located in other municipalities but always within the strict scope of the orchard defined by Law 5/2018 of the Horta de València. In the event that the applicant has his tax residence in a municipality other than the strict area of l'Horta, he may submit his application to the Valencia City Council, provided that the majority of the area on which the aid is requested is located within the municipal area of Valencia. In the event that the applicant has the tax domicile in a municipality other than the municipality of València but within the strict scope of l'Horta and this municipality does not call for aid equivalent to that of this Call, they may submit their application in the municipality of València but as long as they have a plot located in the municipality of València and within the strict scope of l'Horta. i) In the case of having been a beneficiary of any other aid or subsidy granted by the Valencia City Council or its Public Bodies, this must have been correctly justified, except in cases in which the corresponding justification period has not ended. Second. Purpose: Contribute to the maintenance of the landscape of the València orchard in the municipal territorial area, in compliance with the provisions of Law 5/2018 of the Horta de València and Decree 219/2018, of November 30, of the Council, by which the Territorial Action Plan for the planning and revitalization of the Horta of València is approved with the performance of the conditions established in the Annex that appears at the Resolution of the Management of the Council of Horta de València dated September 1, 2023. The purpose of this aid is also the defense of the municipal environment by promoting agricultural activity which is, without a doubt, the main activity of management and conservation of the municipal rural environment, both in the areas of special environmental protection and in general, in the territory recognized by the FAO as an Important World Agricultural Heritage System in November 2019.
