FILE 1580142R: CALL 2023 GRANT OF AID TO NON-PROFESSIONAL ELITE ATHLETES FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF PICASSENT IN OLYMPIC TEAM SPORTS AND NON-OLYMPIC SPORTS

Official description of the call

First.-Regulatory bases and official journal in which they are published. Ordinance regulating the specific bases, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary Session, in a session of June 30, 2022, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 187 of September 28, 2022. Second. Annual budget provision. 1.- The maximum total amount of financial aid granted through this call will be €3,000 charged to the following item of the 2023 Budget: ORG PROG ECON NAME ITEM 500 34101 4890003 SUBSIDY FOR ELITE ATHLETES IN COLLECTIVE SPORTS AND NON-OLYMPIC SPORTS 2.- The City Council may authorize an additional amount, the application of which to the granting of subsidies will not require a new call. The use of the aforementioned additional amount is conditioned, prior to the resolution of the concession, to the approval, if applicable, of the appropriate budget modification and to the incorporation into the file of the certificate of existence of sufficient credit. Before the granting resolution, the availability of the additional credit will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia, through the National Subsidies Database, without prejudice to its publication on the notice board and on the City Council's website, without such publicity implying the opening of a new period for submitting applications, nor the beginning of a new period for resolution. Third. Maximum individual amount of financial aid and compatibility with other aid. 1.-The maximum individual amount of aid per athlete will depend on the status of elite athlete, Level A, B or Promotion, in which the athlete falls, in accordance with regional regulations: LEVEL Maximum individual amount of aid Level A €1,200.00 Level B €600.00 Promotion Level €300.00 2.- The aid granted under this call will be COMPATIBLE with aid granted by other public administrations, or public or private entities, national, European Union or international organizations, for the same purpose, without prejudice to the provisions of the following sections. 3.- The aid granted under this call ARE NOT COMPATIBLE with the municipal line of aid to “outstanding athletes” granted by this City Council in an annual call according to its regulatory ordinance, so athletes, in the same year, will only be able to obtain aid in one of the two calls: outstanding athletes or elite athletes. 4.-The amount of the subsidies awarded may in no case be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. Room. Object. The purpose of these rules is to regulate the procedure under a competitive competition regime, for the granting of aid, from the Sports area of ​​the Picassent City Council, to non-professional elite athletes, residents in Picassent, for the financing of training programs and official competition (regulated by the corresponding Federation), in the sports modalities described in the Ordinance regulating the specific bases of this call, to achieve its proposed objectives. Fifth.- Eligible expenses. 1.- All expenses incurred during the year 2023, in the subsidized sports modality, will be eligible for subsidies, for: ¿¿¿¿ - Acquisition of sports material and equipment for training and official competition. The invoice must expressly indicate the description of the material, which must be specific to the sports modality practiced by the applicant athlete. ¿¿¿¿- Expenses for the acquisition of necessary sports clothing, provided that the logo of the Picassent City Council appears on them, which must be accredited through a graphic medium. ¿¿¿¿- Travel from the Municipality of Picassent to the Municipality where the training center is located. ¿¿¿¿- Participation in official sports competitions (registration, travel, accommodation and food, with indication of place, date and competition in question). - Federation expenses of athletes, for arbitration, sports licenses, team registration, insurance or other types of expenses required by sports federations.
