RULES VIII BANNER CONTEST FOR EQUALITY AND AGAINST GENDER VIOLENCE 1. The Municipal Council of Women for Equality calls on the entire educational community of Xàtiva to actively participate in the next March on November 25 against gender violence. 2. The proposal is that you work by classroom, group, cycle, school, institute, AMPAS, etc., on a banner against gender violence to display at the March on November 25. 3. The theme of the banners will be equality and coexistence, and may refer to coeducation, the prevention of gender violence or feminism. Some examples of slogans could be: stop violence against women, you are not alone, without women there is no future, etc. 4. Material to present: Each school group may make a single banner, which does not exceed three meters wide, and which may be made on fabric, continuous paper, cardboard, rubber, etc. The technique is of your choice, with drawings, collage, etc. being possible. The form of presentation of the work will be on November 25 at the march against gender violence called by the Municipal Council of Women for Equality. 5. Jury: It will be made up of the staff of the Department of Dona i Igualtat and the Department of Education and representatives of the Municipal Council of Women for Equality. 6. Only one First Prize will be awarded, which will consist of a batch of books valued at a maximum of €100 and a commemorative diploma for the best banner presented. 7. All centers participating in this initiative will be awarded recognition for their participation in the November 25 campaign against gender violence. 8. The awards and recognitions will be given on November 25, after the march and the reading of the manifesto of the Municipal Council of Women for Equality at the door of the Xàtiva City Hall. 9. Grant Financing. The prize awards for the VIII Banner Contest on November 25, International Day against Gender Violence, will be processed by budget application 4G1/2311/22609, according to credit retention number 12023000023805. 10. The prizes will be governed by what has been established in Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies, the Regulations of the General Subsidies Law and these Bases. 11. Validity of the Rules: These Rules will remain in force during this call.
