Official description of the call
BDNS (Identif.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the order for the declaration of credits available for the direct granting of aid is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database: http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index and on the website of the Community of Madrid: http://www.comunidad.madrid First Object The purpose of the aid is the financial compensation to the City Councils for the expenses incurred in providing the dining service to students in a disadvantaged socioeconomic situation within the activities carried out by said corporations in public schools of Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education, during the non-school periods of Christmas, Easter and summer of the 2023-2024 school year. Second Beneficiaries The beneficiaries of the aid will be the Town Councils that, during the non-school periods of Christmas, Easter and summer of the 2023-2024 school year, provide the dining room service, within the activities carried out in said periods in public schools in their locality, to students in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or Compulsory Secondary Education who, during the academic year, are beneficiaries of the dining room scholarship because they are in any of the following circumstances: • Be a member of a family receiving the Minimum Insertion Income. • Be a member of a family receiving the Minimum Living Income. • Being a member of a family victim of terrorism. • Being a member of a family victim of gender violence. • Be in foster care. • Accredit refugee status. • Be enrolled in school under the agreements and agreements established by the Ministry of Education, Science and Universities with the General Directorate of Children, Families and Birth Promotion, with the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions and with the General Directorate of Equality. Additionally, other students who are in an unfavorable socioeconomic situation may be included, justified by a report from the Municipal Social Services, with a limit, per City Council, of 50 percent of the number of students in their municipality who are in the circumstances listed above. Third Regulatory rules Agreement of December 5, 2016 of the Governing Council, modified by Agreement of December 18, 2018 and by Agreement of December 1, 2021, the regulatory rules and the procedure for directly granting aid to City Councils were approved for the provision of the dining service to students in disadvantaged socioeconomic situations in public schools during the non-school periods of Christmas, Easter and summer. Fourth Concession Procedure The aid will be awarded by direct concession, in accordance with article 4.5.c) of Law 2/1995, of March 8, on Subsidies of the Community of Madrid, without competition between applicants. Fifth Amount The amount of aid for each beneficiary City Council will be obtained as a result of multiplying the number of students who meet the requirements set forth in this Order by 5.50 euros and by the number of non-school days. Sixth Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications for the Christmas non-school period will be from the day following the publication of an extract of this Order in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid, through the National Subsidies Database, which will publish the full text of the same in the National Subsidies Advertising System that is part of said Database, until January 16, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications for the period will not be Easter school period will be from March 15 to April 8, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications for the summer non-school period will be from June 1 to September 10, 2024.
