Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database: https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/xxx Primero. Objective Approve the regulatory bases and call for aid for the execution of actions whose objective contributes to the restoration of ecosystems and green infrastructure and their biodiversity in protected natural spaces of the Valencian Community. Second. Beneficiary entities 1. Local Entities that meet all of the following criteria may acquire the status of beneficiary entity of this aid: a) That they are municipalities that are located within the scope of a Natural Park, Natural Monument or Protected Landscape, according to article 3.1. of Law 11/1994, of December 27, on Protected Natural Spaces of the Valencian Community. b) Have part or all of its municipal area declared as a Site of Community Importance (SCI), Special Conservation Area (ZEC) or Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) in accordance with the provisions of article 3.3. of Law 11/1994, of December 27, on Protected Natural Spaces of the Valencian Community. Failing that, be part of the ecological connectivity zone contemplated in the decrees declaring the ZEC and approving management standards. c) Belong to the Rural System or Intermediate Strip defined in Decree 1/2011, of January 13, of the Consell, which approves the Territorial Strategy of the Valencian Community. d) Have a population of less than 10,000 inhabitants according to the official population figures of the Spanish municipalities in application of the Bases of the Local Regime (art. 17) of the National Institute of Statistics updated as of January 1, 2022. 2. For those municipalities in whose municipal area a Natural Monument is located, the criterion established in section b of the previous point will not be an exclusive requirement. 3. List of the municipalities that meet all the requirements defined in the previous point to be beneficiaries of this aid: a) Alicante: Agres, Alcocer de Planes, Alfafara, l¿Alqueria d¿Asnar, Banyeres de Mariola, Beniarrés, Benimarfull, Finestrat, Gaianes, Xaló, Lorcha/l¿Orxa, Muro de Alcoy, Pinoso/el Pinós, Planes, Polop, Sax and Tibi. b) Castellón: Aín, Alcudia de Veo, Alfondeguilla, Algimia de Almonacid, Almedíjar, Altura, Artana, Ayódar, Azuébar, Borriol, Cabanes, Castell de Cabres, Chodos/Xodos, Chóvar, Eslida, Fuentes de Ayódar, Higueras, Lucena del Cid/Llucena, Matet, Pavías, la Pobla de Benifassà, la Pobla Tornesa, Rossell, Segorbe, Sueras/Suera, Tales, Torralba del Pinar, Useras/ les Useres, Vall de Almonacid, Vallibona, Villahermosa del Río, Villamalur and Vistabella del Maestat. c) Valencia: Atzeneta d¿Albaida, Albaida, Bèlgida, Beniatjar, Bocairent, Bufali, Bugarra, Carrícola, Chera, Chulilla, Gestalgar, Marines, Náquera/Nàquera, Olocau, Otos, el Palomar, Pedralba, Puebla de San Miguel, Ràfol de Salem, Salem, Segart, Serra, Sot de Chera, Venta del Moro, Villargordo del Cabriel and Gátova. Third. Regulatory bases Resolution of 2023, of the Minister of Environment, Water, Infrastructure and Territory, which establishes the regulatory bases and calls for aid to local entities for the restoration of habitats and species in protected natural spaces of the Valencian Community (Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan). Room. Endowment The amount allocated to the subsidies is €1,200,000.00 and the maximum amount of the subsidy to each beneficiary will be €40,000.00. Fifth. Financing The financing of this aid is part of the budgetary framework of Program 442.99, where by Agreement of June 29, 2023, of the Consell, a transfer of credits in the amount of 1,200,000.00 is authorized, grouping of remainders, for the inclusion of a new competitive subsidy line (S1443), in chapter 7 of the aforementioned program 442.99, with the following descriptive data: aid for the development of projects that involve the restoration of habitats and species as well as financial support for local entities in the interior that have protected natural spaces in their municipal area. . 100% of the subsidy amount comes from Next funds
