Official description of the call

The Hon. Alcañiz City Council calls, in early processing for the year 2024, this contest for the election of the poster announcing Holy Week 2024 in which all artists who wish may participate according to the following bases: First.- Beneficiaries. All interested people, whether professionals or not, may participate. As an essential requirement, contestants must not have debts owed to the City Council, the Public Treasury or Social Security. They must not be involved in any file for the reimbursement of public subsidies and they must not be involved in any of the prohibition cases established by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, to be a beneficiary of aid. Second.- Object. The theme of the poster must be related to the spirit and tradition of Holy Week in Alcañiz. The main objective of this contest is to promote artistic teachings and citizen participation. Third.- Regulatory bases. The granting of these subsidies will be processed on a competitive basis, in accordance with article 22 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (LGS). This call will be publicized in the Official Gazette of the Province and in the National Subsidies Database, in accordance with the provisions of articles 9.3 and 20.8 of the aforementioned Law 38/2003, General Subsidies, as well as on the municipal website www.alcaniz.es. Fourth.- Amount. The prize will consist of €300 for the best Holy Week 2024 poster and €100 for the best handmade work, with both awards not coinciding. Cash prizes will be met from budget application 3347/48000. Fifth.- Deadline and place of presentation. The originals will be presented or sent to the Registry of the Alcañiz City Council, in Plaza de España, 1. C.P. 44600 Alcañiz (Teruel) from the day following the publication of these rules in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel and until 2 p.m. on January 31, 2024. Along with the works, the following must be submitted: Annex A. Competition application model. Copy of the work in digital format for later reproduction.
