Official description of the call
BDNS In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and on the institutional website of the Community of Madrid (www.comunidad.madrid). First. Object. Facilitate the development of university studies and higher artistic education of students with excellent academic achievement. Second. Number of scholarships awarded. 3,215 study scholarships are being called for students with excellent academic achievement corresponding to the 2023-2024 academic year, of which 1,125 are for students new to university or higher artistic education and 2,090 for students already enrolled in university education or higher artistic education. Of the 1,125 scholarships for new students, five scholarships are reserved for students who access higher artistic education. Of the 2,090 scholarships for students already enrolled, five scholarships are reserved for students enrolled in higher artistic education. Third. Beneficiaries. Students who, meeting the established requirements, are enrolled in official education at a university in the Community of Madrid or in a center attached to it and whose headquarters are in the Community of Madrid or in a higher center for artistic education in the Community of Madrid during the 2023-2024 academic year may be beneficiaries. Room. Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases are included in Order 2069/2016, of June 23, of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of aid to students with excellent academic achievement in the universities and higher artistic education centers of the Community of Madrid, in the wording given by Order 2181/2017 of June 26 (Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid number 166, July 14, 2017). Fifth. Scoring criteria. Scholarships will be awarded based on the academic score obtained until all the credit allocated to the call has been exhausted. The minimum average grade necessary to apply for excellence scholarships will be the following: a) Shift for new students: a.1). Students entering university: 12,800 points. a.2). Students who access higher artistic education centers: 12.00 points. b) Shift for students already enrolled in higher university and artistic education. b.1) In university studies: -Short cycle and long cycle technical education and degree studies assigned to the branch of knowledge of engineering and architecture: 8.15 points. -Medicine studies, double degrees and simultaneous studies: 8.65 points. -Rest of studies: 9.15 points. b.2) In higher artistic education: 8.50 points. Sixth. Amount The total amount allocated to this call is 6,751,500 euros. The individual amount of each scholarship is 2,100 euros. Seventh. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days and will begin the day following the publication of the extract of the call order in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. The application model will be available on the web pages: https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/administracion-digital-punto- acceso-general and will be mandatory for interested parties.
