Official description of the call
BDNS (Identif.): In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b) and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans) and on the institutional website of the Community of Madrid (https://www.comunidad.madrid/). First. Beneficiaries. a) Public Universities and Private Universities based in the Community of Madrid. b) Foundations of Madrid Institutes of Advanced Studies (IMDEA Foundations). c) Public Research Organizations provided for in Chapter II of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation. d) Foundations for Biomedical Research of the public hospitals of the hospital network of the Community of Madrid. e) Public and private health entities and institutions linked or in agreement with the National Health System, which carry out research activity. f) Other public and private, non-profit entities, with demonstrated capacity and activity in R&D&I, that have R&D&I defined in their statutes as their main activity. All of the above categories of entities must be validly incorporated and have tax domicile in the Community of Madrid at the time of submitting the application. Second. Object. Regulate the granting, under a competitive competition regime under the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, as well as effectiveness and efficiency in the allocation and use of public resources, of subsidies intended for the hiring of predoctoral research personnel in training for the completion of doctoral theses with the characteristics described in article 15 of Royal Decree 99/2011, of January 28, International Doctorate. Third. Regulatory bases. Order 2053/2022, of July 19, of the Vice Presidency, Ministry of Education and Universities, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the hiring of predoctoral research personnel in training. Room. Amount and duration of aid. The budget assigned to this call amounts to €29,157,592.75. The duration of the aid for the hiring of predoctoral research personnel in training will be a maximum of 4 years. A total of 250 contracts will be awarded, taking into account that 10 contracts will be reserved for people with a minimum of 33% disability. The total of 250 contracts will be distributed proportionally among the six scientific-technical areas of the annex based on the applications submitted. The Community of Madrid will contribute the amounts reflected in the following table to finance the hiring expenses (salary, company Social Security and compensation at the end of the contract due to expiration of the agreed time) and the expenses of stays abroad: Contract Stay abroad Year 2023 €25,082.19 €3,000 Year 2024 €25,082.19 €3,000 Year 2025 €26,873.78 €0 Year 2026 €33,592.22 €0 Fifth. Evaluation criteria. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria. Each application will be given a score of 0 to 10 points. a) Average grade of the academic record of the candidate for predoctoral research staff (4 points). This grade will be calculated as follows: 1st. The weighted average grade for undergraduate studies or the equivalent qualification has a weight of 80% and the weighted average grade for master's studies has a weight of 20%. 2nd. If you directly access the doctorate without the need to complete master's studies, only the weighted average grade of the undergraduate studies or the equivalent qualification will be taken into account 100%. 3rd. In the case of having completed more than one university degree or more than one master's degree, only the weighted average grades of the teachings that are most related to the doctoral program and that of the master's degree with which the doctoral program is accessed will be taken into account. b) Curriculum vitae of the candidate for predoctoral research personnel (1 point). c) Quality and scientific-technical interest of the thesis project and its viability, as well as availability in the center of the means to carry it out (2 points). d) Scientific-technical history during the last five years of the director of the thesis project or, where applicable, of the thesis co-directors (2 pu
