Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Translators of works of children's and youth literature into Basque produced from any other language, whose legal deposit date is 2023. Translators awarded in the same category in the 2022 and 2023 editions will not be able to apply for the same category in this 2024 edition. Translations made by companies will not be accepted. Second. Purpose: To regulate the granting of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Awards to the best translations into Basque, with a legal deposit date of 2023, of works of children's and young people's literature. The aim is to reward the works of those translators whose work is outstanding, regardless of the chosen genre. Third. Regulatory Bases Approved by Agreement of the Local Government Board of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council dated March 22, 2024; will be published in BOTHA. Room. Amount. The endowment of this call is 18,000 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. 20 business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the BOTHA.
