Regulatory bases for the call for tourism subsidies for associations and non-profit entities in the Valdejalón region for the financial year 2024

Official description of the call

This call for subsidies is carried out on a competitive basis and corresponds to the Tourism Subsidy Line, art. 12, of the Strategic Subsidy Plan for the period 2024-2027 published in BOPZ no. 65 dated March 20, 2024, and subsequent modifications, governed by the General Subsidies Ordinance of the Valdejalón Region, published in BOPZ no. 144 dated May 22, 2019 as long as it does not contradict the provisions of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulations of the General Law of Subsidies; Legislative Decree 2/2023, of May 3, which approves the Consolidated Text of the Aragon Subsidies Law, Law 7/1999, of April 2, of Local Administration of Aragon, and Decree 347/2002, of November 19, of the Government of Aragon, which approves the Regulation of Goods, Activities, Services and Works of Local Entities of Aragon. First. - Object. The purpose of the call is the support and promotion of both heritage and natural tourism programs in the territory of the Valdejalón Region and support for the development of the associative fabric of the area. It will be an essential condition that the program or activity subject to the subsidy is developed in one or some of the municipalities that make up the Valdejalón Segundo Region. - Activity execution period. Actions carried out and actually paid for between January 1 and October 28, 2024 may be subject to subsidy. Third. - Eligible expenses. Programs referring to the following specific sectors and in the modalities listed below may be subject to subsidy: a) Organization of tourism promotion and dissemination activities. b) Organization of fairs, exhibitions, conferences within the tourism field c) Editing of videos, brochures and tourist maps d) Organization of Activities aimed at promoting knowledge of the natural and heritage of the Valdejalón Region. e) Publications and dissemination material of strictly tourist content (heritage, tourism and intangible), understood as such as those relating to any of the aspects related to the previous points. Modalities: Activities and projects related to the indicated sectors, such as, as a guide, a) Tourism dissemination activities in the region, aimed at raising awareness of the heritage and natural tourist environment of the Region. b) Organization of Activities aimed at promoting knowledge of the nearby natural and heritage environment. e) Publications and dissemination material of strictly tourist and environmental content, understood as such as that relating to any of the aspects related to the previous points. f) Forestry treatments of the natural heritage: clearing, thinning, pruning, replacement of damaged signage... (when they do not constitute in themselves, without further ado, the project to be subsidized) Likewise, the payrolls of the personnel who have actually carried out the project or activity may be subsidized, provided that a certificate issued by the secretary of the Entity accrediting this point is incorporated, as well as the percentage of the day dedicated to carrying out the activity. Contest prizes may be included as eligible expenses, as long as they are paid by bank transfer or check and comply with the appropriate tax regulations. The beneficiary association of the subsidy will be responsible for compliance with tax regulations regarding prize payments, checks, etc. The following will not be eligible expenses: Bills for meals, snacks or similar. Investments in signage for new trails (only the mere maintenance of damaged signage will be eligible). Details, gifts, merchandising or similar delivered in the activities. Investments that involve new works and not mere property maintenance Rentals of premises; transportation or stay expenses related to purely recreational trips. To this end, in the event that the subsidized activity involves travel, only the amount of the tickets or tourist guide to the event or facilities that are the subject of the subsidy will be eligible, but not transportation; bills for meals, snacks, drinks or similar; ordinary expenses not directly related to the subsidized project;
