Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Associations that work with the agricultural sector of Menorca, agricultural entities, 1st and 2nd degree agricultural cooperatives and professional agricultural associations and organizations, legally constituted with real and democratic internal functioning, can apply for the subsidy. In this sense, organizations that do not carry out the electoral processes provided for in their statutes are excluded from this competitive competition procedure. Second. Purpose The purpose of this aid is to participate in the expenses incurred by entities related to agricultural activity to carry out training and qualification actions for the agricultural sector of the island of Menorca from January 1 to December 31 of the year prior to the call. Third. Regulatory bases This call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on May 6, 2024, modified by the Agreement of the Executive Council of June 3, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €30,000 (thirty thousand euros). Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications and justifications will be 30 calendar days from the day following the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB). Sixth. Other information The maximum individual amount of the call will be €12,000. The scope of work of the projects presented must be exclusively the island of Menorca. The following activities are subject to subsidy, which will be carried out in person and will be free of charge: Line 1. Training courses aimed at the agricultural and livestock sector that contribute to their training. Line 2. Organization of technical conferences on topics related to the agricultural sector. Line 3. Advice: practical orientation sessions and demonstration activities. The activities listed above must have been carried out from January 1 to December 31 of the year prior to the call.
