RULES FOR THE CALL FOR FINANCIAL AID TO YOUNG STUDENTS WHO WANT TO ACCESS UNIVERSITY STUDIES FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE FEES FOR THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND THE EVALUATION TEST FOR ACCESS TO THE UNIVERSITY (EvAU). COURSE 2023/2024

Official description of the call
1. PURPOSE Granting of direct aid, without competitive competition, and up to a maximum of 120 euros for young people registered in Alcázar de San Juan who have completed the 2nd year of Baccalaureate and want to access university studies for the payment of the fee for the baccalaureate degree and the fee for taking the EvAU test. The amount of the subsidies may in no case be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. (Art.19.3 LGS). 2. BUDGET CREDIT The budget credit for this aid amounts to €3,000, which will be financed from item 23101/48000 of the 2024 municipal budget. 3. BENEFICIARIES AND REQUIREMENTS People who meet the following requirements will be eligible for aid: a) Be registered in Alcázar de San Juan, the student and at least, one of its parents with a minimum seniority of one year. b) That the aid applicant appear this year of the 2023-2024 school year, at the EvAU. c) Family income corresponding to the year 2022, according to the number of members, is less than the following amounts: No. members of the family unit Income Families with 1 member €15,417.00 Families with 2 members €22,694.00 Families with 3 members €30,768.00 Families with 4 members €36,521.00 Families with 5 members €40,808.00 Families of 6 members €44,045.00 Families of 7 members €47,145.00 Families of 8 members €50,433.00 To calculate the family income, the following aspects will be taken into account: 1. All income received from all members over 18 years of age will be taken into account. 2. For the purposes of this call, a family unit is understood to be: - The unit made up of the father and the mother or the new spouse or person united by a similar relationship to the father or mother and who are components of the family unit in said exercise, the guardian or person in charge of the custody and protection of the minor, if applicable, the applicant, the unmarried siblings of twenty-five years of age and who live in the family home and those over twenty-five years of age, in the case of people with physical disabilities, psychic or sensory. - In cases of legal separation, or when there is no marital bond, that formed by the father or mother and all the children who lived with one or the other and who meet the requirements referred to in the previous point or the new spouse or person united by a similar relationship. - When the child custody regime is shared, the father, mother and their common children will be considered eligible members. 3. The income of the main breadwinners of the applicant will count at 100%. Those of the rest of the members of the family unit, including the applicant, at 50%. 4. In the event that the amount of aid to be granted exceeds the amount allocated to this call, the maximum overall amount allocated to the subsidies will be prorated among the beneficiaries of the subsidy. (Art.22.1 LGS) 4. DEDUCTIONS FROM FAMILY INCOME a) Large family. b) Disability. 5. APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTATION. The documentation to be presented for the aid application will be the following: 1. Application (Annex I). 2. Photocopy of the DNI of the applicant and the members of the family unit who possess it and, in the case of foreigners, a resident, asylum or refuge card, or any other document that allows their legal stay in the country. 3. Photocopy of the family book 4. Proof of payment of the fee to obtain the Baccalaureate degree. 5. Proof of payment of the fee for registration for the entrance exam to higher university studies. 6. Proof of economic income for all members of the family unit of working age (Income Declaration 2022; Certificates from the Public Employment Service of being a job seeker, as well as payments of any type of benefit or subsidy coming from it; Job seeker's card, duly stamped; Updated certificate of working life). 7.
