Official description of the call
.-OBJECT. The object of this call is the promotion and promotion of cultural and social activities with the aim of encouraging an active and creative use of leisure and contributing to promoting the dissemination and enhancement of all manifestations of Galician popular culture. The City Council may exclude from the concession any activity that it considers does not serve the stated purposes, as well as those that promote, facilitate or allow type discrimination (ethnic, social, sexual, ideological, linguistic, etc.) or are incompatible with the values of equality, free development of personality, secularism and environmental protection. 2.-BUDGETARY CREDITS. The subsidies will be made effective from the following applications of the municipal budget of the Cedeira City Council for the 2024 financial year: 334,489.00 in the amount of 45,000.00 euros for cultural activities. 334,789.00 for an amount of 15,000.00 euros for investments made by the entities. 3.-PURPOSE. The awarded funds are intended to finance musical, theatrical, and other socio-cultural programs and activities. 1. The following are considered eligible expenses in the case of requesting a subsidy to carry out activities: a) Purchase of trophies. b) Purchase of non-inventory or consumable material (unit amount less than 100 euros). c) Travel expenses necessary to participate in events (transport, accommodation and subsistence). d) Local rental expenses. e) Expenses derived from the activities carried out (materials, fees, ...) f) Staff payrolls and social security, with legal requirements. g) Maintenance and operating expenses of the requesting entity (telephone and internet, electricity, water and sanitation, office supplies, administration and others directly related to its activity). h) Posters, printed matter, banners, advertising in the media to disseminate the activities of the entity or association. i) Insurance (civil liability, premises, etc.). 2. The following will be considered eligible expenses in the case of requesting the subsidy for making investments: a) Purchase of inventory material directly related to the activity of the sociocultural entity with a unit amount equal to or greater than 100 euros. 3. In no case will the following be eligible for subsidies: a) Interest debited from bank accounts. b) Administrative and criminal sanctions, as well as interest and surcharges that may arise from them. c) Expenses of judicial procedures. d) Expenses derived from particular gastronomic celebrations of the entities or associations (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, pinchos, etc.). e) Expenses for the acquisition of alcoholic beverages of any type, as well as tobacco or other products considered harmful to health. f) Expenses that contradict the provisions of article 68 of RD 887/2006 and article 29.7-d of the General Subsidy Law. 4.-CONCESSION MODALITY. Competitive competition regime. 5.-REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST SUBSIDIES. Entities and associations with their own legal personality, non-profit, that develop programs and activities linked to the sociocultural area and that meet, at the time of submitting the application, the requirements indicated in base 3 of the regulatory bases, may participate in this call. 6.- COMPETENT BODIES FOR THE INSTRUCTION AND RESOLUTION OF THE PROCEDURE. An Assessment Commission will be appointed that will promote ex officio the performance of whatever actions are necessary for the determination, knowledge and verification of the data by virtue of which the proposed resolution will be formulated. The Evaluation Commission will be made up of: Presidency: The head of the Department of Culture or person to whom he delegates Members: The head of the Department of Finance or person to whom he delegates The head of the Department of Tourism or person to whom he delegates The AEDL of the city council or person to whom he delegates The person who heads the Municipal Intervention will participate in the Evaluation Commission with voice and without vote.
