PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBSIDIES AIMED AT MUNICIPAL SPORTS ENTITIES AND ASSOCIATIONS IN CEDEIRA FOR THE YEAR 2024

Official description of the call
1.–OBJECT. The purpose of this call is the promotion and promotion of sports activities with the aim of encouraging active and creative use of leisure. These bases will have the purpose of supporting and improving the sports practice of sports clubs and entities, subsidizing the sports activity programs to be developed and the investments made, referring to sports initiation projects, promotion of sports practice and competition; It may consist of specific sports programs, events or competitions or the ordinary annual activity of the requesting club or sports entity. The City Council may exclude from the concession any activity that it considers does not serve the stated purposes, as well as those that promote, facilitate or allow discrimination of any type (ethnic, social, sexual, ideological, linguistic, etc.) or are incompatible with the values of equality, free development of personality, secularism and environmental protection. 2.–BUDGETARY CREDITS. The subsidies will be made effective from the following applications of the municipal budget of the Cedeira City Council for the financial year 2024: 341,489.00 in the amount of 45,000.00 euros for sports activities. 341,789.00 for an amount of 15,000.00 euros for investments made by the entities. 3.–PURPOSE. 1. Purchase of trophies Purchase of non-inventory or consumable material with a unit amount of less than €100.00 (balls, nets, t-shirts, etc.) To be eligible for sports clothing, the logos of the council and the Xeoparque must be printed. Aluguer expenses for sports facilities. Federation expenses, mutual societies, arbitrations of competitions, etc. The expenses derived from regular participation in official federated competitions (referees, federative taxes, etc.) that are not open to athletes. Payrolls of technical and social security personnel, legal requirements. Club maintenance expenses. The maintenance and operation expenses of the applicant entity (telephony, electricity, water, consumable office supplies, administration, insurance and others directly related to the club's activity). Posters, prints, banners, media advertising to disseminate the activities and events of the entity. Insurance for sports practice and organization: Civil liability, sports accident, federal health care. 2. The following will be considered eligible expenses, in the case of requesting the subsidy for making investments: a) Purchase of inventory material directly related to the sporting activity with a unit amount equal to or greater than €100. 3. In no case will the following be eligible for subsidies: a) Interest debited from bank accounts. b) Administrative and criminal sanctions, as well as interest and surcharges that may arise from them. c) Expenses of judicial proceedings. d) Expenses derived from particular gastronomic celebrations of the entities or associations (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, pinchos, etc.). e) Expenses for the acquisition of alcoholic beverages of any type, as well as tobacco or other products considered harmful to health. f) Expenses that contradict the provisions of article 68 of RD 887/2006 and article 29.7-d of the General Subsidy Law. 4.–CONCESSION MODALITY. Competitive competition regime. 5.–REQUIREMENTS TO REQUEST SUBSIDIES. All Cedeira sports clubs and associations that meet, at the time of submitting the subsidy application, the requirements indicated in base 3 of the regulatory bases may apply for this subsidy. 6.– COMPETENT BODIES FOR THE INSTRUCTION AND RESOLUTION OF THE PROCEDURE. An Assessment Commission will be appointed that will promote ex officio the carrying out of any actions necessary for the determination, knowledge and verification of the data by virtue of which the proposed resolution will be formulated.
