Extract from the agreement of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real, dated July 30, 2024, which approves the call for the Investment Plan for municipalities with more than 30,000 inhabitants. First.- Beneficiaries: All municipalities with more than 30,000 inhabitants in the province may benefit from this Plan, which request it in accordance with the content of this call and the Regulations regulating the Economic Assistance and Municipal Cooperation Plan. Second.- Object The purpose of this call is the granting of financial aid to the municipalities of more than 30,000 inhabitants of the province of Ciudad Real for the execution of investments, with the purpose that they can provide under adequate conditions the services provided for in article 26 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, which allow them to satisfy the needs and aspirations of their neighbors and citizens. It develops, regarding the works and services of municipal jurisdiction, the provisions of article 36.2) of the Local Regime Law, which establishes as the Provincial Council's own powers the legal, economic and technical assistance and cooperation to the municipalities and the cooperation in the promotion of economic and social development and in planning in the provincial territory. Third.- Regulatory bases: The regulatory bases are established in the Regulatory Regulation of the Municipal Economic Assistance and Cooperation Plan, approved by the Plenary Session of the Provincial Council in a session of April 29, 2022 and published in the Official Gazette of the Province No. 121, of the following June 24. Fourth.- Award criteria: The maximum amount that each municipality and Eatim can obtain appears in Annex I of the call. The amounts allocated are determined by objective criteria (10 euros per inhabitant, according to the latest official population figures approved by the INE, referring to January 1, 2023). Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications ends on October 31, 2024. Sixth.- Other information: The applications derived from this call and the rest of the procedures that may apply must be carried out exclusively electronically.
