In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database: http://www.pap.hacienda.gob.es/bdnstrans/index First. Participants Individuals who are the authors of doctoral theses or master's final projects, read or defended at public universities in the Valencian Community, may participate in this call during the years 2023 or 2024 in the case of doctoral theses and during the year 2023 in the case of master's final projects, rated as excellent. Second. Purpose of the call To call for the Awards for doctoral theses and final master's projects on social services María Asunción Martínez Román for the year 2024. Third. Purpose of the awards Doctoral theses or final master's theses, rated as “excellent” and read or defended in one of the public universities of the Valencian Community, will be eligible to be awarded, during the years 2023 or 2024 in the case of doctoral theses and during the year 2023 in the case of master's final projects, which deal with social services within the framework of the promotion of social inclusion, autonomy personnel, as well as the protection of people and their families. Room. Modalities 1. The prizes will be awarded in two modalities: A) Doctoral theses on social services, with a minimum qualification of “excellent”, read in public universities of the Valencian Community. B) Master's final projects rated as “excellent”, defended in public universities of the Valencian Community. 2. Each modality will be made up of four prizes; The first prize, second and third prize will consist of the receipt of the financial award established in section six, and the fourth prize will consist of a special mention, without financial award. Fifth. Regulatory bases Order 5/2019, of August 6, 2019, of the Vice Presidency and Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies, by which the regulatory bases for the creation of the awards for Doctoral Theses and Final Master's Thesis on social services María Asunción Martínez Román are approved (DOGV 8612 of 08/13/2019). Sixth. Budget allocation 1. Taking into account the different modalities referred to in article 5 of Order 5/2019, of August 6, 2019, the financial allocation of each award will be as established below: 1). Modality A: doctoral theses a) First prize: 5,000 euros b) Second prize: 3,500 euros c) Third prize. 2,500 euros 2). Modality B: master's final projects a) First prize: 2,000 euros b) Second prize: 1,500 euros c) Third prize: 1,000 euros The prizes may be declared void in each modality, by reasoned agreement of the technical evaluation commission, without this implying an increase in the amount of the others. 2. Law 8/2023, of December 27, on the budgets of the Generalitat for the financial year 2024, provides for the existence of subsidy line S1129 in the budget application G0116.04.02.313K00.4 with an amount of €15,500. 3. The General Directorate of Management of the Social Health System and the Valencian Institute of Training, Research and Quality of Social Services will carry out the terms established in the control plan approved by Resolution of the General Director of Management of the Social Health System and the Valencian Institute of Training, Research and Quality of Social Services, dated February 28, 2024 and published in DOGV no. 9802 dated March 5, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of article 169 of Law 1/2015, of February 6, of the Generalitat, on public finances, the instrumental public sector and subsidies. The type of control will be administrative, a random sample of representative projects may be selected in each of the calls to verify certain technical, economic or administrative aspects and the minimum percentage of subsidy to be controlled will be 10% of the amount financed. Seventh. Deadline for submission of applications The deadline for submission will be 15 days from the day following the publication of this resolution in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana.
