Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Individuals who present their Doctoral Theses, Final Degree Projects or Master's Final Projects whose research object is the enhancement of municipal markets in relation to the subjects included in the Madrid Healthy and Sustainable Eating Strategy, completed, read and graded until October 31, 2024. The works presented may not be older than 4 years, in the case of Doctoral Theses and 3 years, if it is a Final Degree or Master's Project, at the time of the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid. In accordance with the provisions of article 15 and the first additional provision of the Ordinance of General Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies by the Madrid City Council and its Public Bodies, those people who meet the requirements established in this call and are not subject to any of the causes of prohibition to access the status of beneficiary established in sections 2 and 3 of article 13 of the General Law of Subsidies may access the status of beneficiaries of these awards. Second. Object. Reward the best Doctoral Theses, Final Degree Projects and Master's Final Projects whose research object is the enhancement of municipal markets as references for a sustainable production and consumption model: the purchase of food products linked to quality, temporality, traceability and the Mediterranean diet, healthy and sustainable gastronomic offer, food governance, food culture, right to food, sustainable food production and transformation, distribution and supply and other subjects that are included in the Madrid Healthy and Sustainable Eating Strategy. These awards aim to reward the best Doctoral Theses, Final Degree Projects and Master's Final Projects whose research object has a direct relationship with the aforementioned topics. Third. Regulatory bases. Ordinance of General Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies by the Madrid City Council and its Public Bodies, approved by Agreement of October 30, 2013 of the Plenary Session of the Madrid City Council and the Decree of August 9, 2024 of the Delegate of the Government Area of Economy, Innovation and Finance by which the approval of the public call for Awards for academic and research works on healthy and sustainable food systems is agreed. the city of Madrid for the 2024 year. Fourth. Amount. The expense involved in this call amounts to 15,000.00 euros attributable to the budget application 001/140/431.00/482.03 “Prizes” of the "Commerce" program, from the credits in force in the 2024 annuity of the Madrid City Council. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin at 00:00 a.m. the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid and will end at 11:59 p.m. on October 31, 2024. Sixth. Other data. This call is developed on a competitive basis. The registration application, available through the electronic headquarters of the Madrid City Council (https://sede.madrid.es), duly completed, may be submitted electronically using any of the electronic certificates accepted by the Madrid City Council or in person at the registry offices of the Madrid City Council, or through the other forms provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The applicant must provide the documents in electronic format, as indicated in section 7 of these call bases. These documents may be submitted, together with the application model, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Madrid City Council, or in digital format (pendrive or equivalent) at the registry offices of the Madrid City Council, or through the other forms provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, within the deadline established in section 8 of this call.
