Official description of the call
Extract from the Resolution dated 08/30/2024, of the Mayor's Office of Llíria, by which the call is made for the granting of aid to elite athletes of the municipality of Llíria for the 23-24 season. First. Beneficiaries: Those who meet the following requirements may obtain beneficiary status: a) Be registered in Llíria during the last two years before the date of submission of the applications. b) Have the status of high-level or performance athletes of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) or elite athlete of the Valencian Community at any of its levels, in the period subject to the call, and prove having participated in official competition within the calendar of the corresponding federation, at the regional, national, European or world level. The status of high-level athlete recognized by foreign organizations through certification that can be homologated and recognized to the conditions and requirements provided for in Spanish legislation will also be accepted. c) The results in the competitions must have been obtained by being part of sports entities that do not obtain subsidies for sports projects in Llíria. 2. The accreditation of the conditions established in the previous section will be carried out in the following way: For section a), it will be verified by the investigating body of the procedure. For section b), official document/resolution that accredits the status of high-level or performance athletes of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) or elite athlete of the Valencian Community at any of its levels in the period subject to the call. For section c), certificate from the relevant club or federation, which specifies the entity to which the person requesting the subsidy belongs. 3. Applicants who are in any of the following situations are excluded: a) In a file for the reversal of public subsidies as a result of non-compliance with the purposes of the subsidies granted. b) Those that are pending justification or reimbursement of municipal subsidies previously granted. c) Those who are not up to date with their state or regional tax obligations, before Social Security and before the Llíria City Council. d) Those that are sanctioned for serious reasons by any corresponding Administration or federation in sports matters. e) Those that are in any of the circumstances established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second: Purpose: The purpose of these rules is to regulate the granting of financial aid to elite athletes in the municipality of Llíria and to support the sports practice and performance of athletes, to improve their participation in sports competitions, as well as to achieve adequate technical training in their sports specialty. The period covers from January 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024. Third. Regulatory Bases Regulatory bases published in the BOP of Valencia no. 146 of July 30, 2024. Fourth. Amount Total amount of the call: 5,000.-€ Individual amount: Maximum 1500.-€ Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications 15 business days from the day following the publication of the announcement regarding your call in the BOP of Valencia.
