Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries They can access the aid that corresponds to them: a) For L1, natural or legal persons or groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets without legal personality that has the tax domicile and an operational establishment in Menorca of a productive nature (manufacturer, producer or artisan), which, under the figure of micro, small or medium-sized company, is registered with the economic activities tax in divisions 0 (provided that the operation is registered in the Island Registry of agricultural holdings on the date of end of the application submission period, as a complementary activity of direct sale and transformation, if applicable), 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the first section or grouping 86 of the second section of Royal Legislative Decree 1175/1990, of September 28, by which the rates and instructions for the tax on economic activities are approved. b) For L2, business associations with a scope of action limited, totally and exclusively, to the island of Menorca. c) For L3, agricultural cooperatives or consumer and user cooperatives that are registered in the Registry of cooperatives of the Balearic Islands at the time of the application. d) For L4, natural or legal persons or groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property or any other type of economic unit or separate property without legal personality that has a tax domicile and a commercial establishment located in any municipal area of Menorca (except urbanizations and industrial estates), which, under the figure of retail trade, is registered with the economic activities tax (IAE) in one of the headings listed in Annex I (extracted from the groups). 64 and 65 of the first section of Royal Legislative Decree 1175/1990, of September 28, by which the rates and instructions of the IAE are approved). Only one commercial establishment per company will be eligible for subsidies. Second. Purpose The purpose of this aid, mostly de minimis, is to promote native agri-food products, stimulate small local businesses and agricultural and consumer cooperatives, support the industrial sector and encourage the island's crafts. Third. Regulatory bases The call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca, in an ordinary session on August 26, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand euros). The maximum budget appropriations assigned are: Line Current expenditure Investment expenditure ∑ L1, L2, L3, L4 €700,000 €800,000 Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications From the day after the call has been published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) and until November 1, 2024. Sixth. Other information The maximum eligible thresholds, on an individual basis, are the following: Maximum individual aid line L1. Aid to productive companies €30,000 L2. Aid to business associations €5,000 L3. Aid to agricultural and consumer cooperatives €50,000 L4. Aid for small businesses €25,000 Lines L1, L2, L3 and L4 are incompatible with each other. For lines L1 and L4, if an establishment has more than one owner, only one request can be made per establishment; A single application must also be submitted per beneficiary in the event that the beneficiary is the owner of more than one establishment. Except for the line dedicated to non-profit entities (L2), the remaining lines (L1, L3 and L4) contain aid with de minimis consideration according to European regulations. The aforementioned eligible actions must have been carried out in the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024, both included.
