Official description of the call
Mayor's Resolution no. 2024-5464 dated September 13, 2024, by which subsidies are called for social emergency and development benefits for the year 2024, through the competitive competition procedure. TEXT In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (www.infosubvenciones.es) and on the Oliva City Council website. Economic Benefits for Social Urgency and Development, fiscal year 2024, of the Oliva City Council. FIRST.- Purpose of the call. Social Emergency Economic Benefits are extraordinary financial aid, intended to alleviate emergency situations of people, with independent households, affected by a state of need. This type of aid will be a requirement if you do not have sufficient income to cover the expenses derived from the emergency situation. SECOND.- Concession regime. The concession procedure is on a competitive basis. The frequency of granting recognition of the benefit will be monthly, coinciding with the proposed resolution made monthly by the Commission for the Assessment and Monitoring of Economic Benefits (approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council, in an ordinary session on December 22, 2021), provided that there are applications and files open in that period. (article 12 of the Regulatory Ordinance and Scale of Economic Benefits of Social Urgency and Development) THIRD.- Types of aid. They present, according to the municipal regulations of Oliva (article 6 of the Ordinance "Regulations and Scale of Social Emergency Economic Benefits"), the following typologies, to be determined, studying each specific case, by the reference social work professional: "A) Essential expenses for the use of the habitual residence. Access to or maintenance of the habitual residence and the expenses derived from this. The beneficiary must be the owner, or, where appropriate, tenant of the residence that will have to be be of habitual use and will be granted when there are guarantees of continuity of payment. The modalities may be the following: • Duly accredited cut-off of basic supplies. Up to 70% of the monthly IPREM in force at any time may be granted. • Aid for the payment of rent and/or mortgage of the habitual residence: in order to avoid possible evictions. This modality will always be initiated OFFICIALly, by the Economic Benefits Commission. of the reference Social Worker. A maximum limit of four months belonging to a period of one year or a maximum amount of €1,400 is established. This modality cannot be granted every year, so at least a period of 2 years must elapse from the last grant. • Deposit for housing and/or community expenses according to technical criteria and provided that the applicant is part of a PPIS. B) Expenses intended to cover basic family needs. It is a type of benefit consisting of a financial contribution to meet the basic subsistence needs that the family or cohabitation unit cannot cover with its own means. Such as: food, hygiene, clothing... Up to 70% of the monthly IPREM and exceptionally up to 3 months of the IPREM in force at any given time may be granted. C) Technical aids that enable people with motor or sensory problems to maintain themselves in their own social environment, increasing their autonomy, enhancing their possibilities. and promoting their social relationships. Subsidies offered by the Department of Social Services through the Disabilities Order for Personal Development and/or Functional Diversity are excluded. Modality of aid: • Dark circles for people who do not have a disability recognition or have not been able to benefit from the Disabilities Order: with a maximum amount of five hundred euros (up to €500.00) • Hearing aids for people with sensory problems as long as they do not. have been able to benefit from the Disabilities Order. Maximum economic module: €300/year (1 unit) and €600/year (2 units) D) Extraordinary actions These are those related to exceptional expenses in which they occur.
