Official description of the call
Extract from the Decree of September 13, 2024 of the President Councilor of the District of Salamanca, which approves the bases of the call for the Pz Dalí Quick Painting Contest, in its edition corresponding to 2024. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Object and purpose of the call. With the purpose of promoting culture, the development of the plastic arts and encouraging citizen participation, the Plaza Dalí Quick Painting Contest is called, in its edition corresponding to 2024. Second. Regulatory bases. Ordinance of General Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies by the Madrid City Council and its Public Bodies of October 30, 2013, published on www.madrid.es. Third. Participants. All people of Spanish nationality and foreigners residing in Spain who prove they are 18 years old on the date of the contest. Members of the jury will not be able to participate. Room. Registration. ¿ Electronically, by accessing the City Council's Electronic Headquarters, https://sede.madrid.es, through the registration form. In this case you must use one of the electronic identification systems accepted by Madrid City Council. The electronic registration period will be 10 business days, which will begin the day after the publication of these rules in the Official Gazette of the Madrid City Council. ¿ In person, at the registry offices of the Madrid City Council. It may also be submitted through the other forms provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which will be 10 business days, which will begin from the day after the publication of these bases in the Official Gazette of the Madrid City Council. ¿ In person, on the same day of the contest from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., in the Plaza de Salvador Dalí by filling out the form. All registered people must go through the process of sealing their support and identifying the work. Fifth.- Date of celebration and presentation of the works. The contest will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the Plaza de Salvador Dalí in the District of Salamanca, if weather conditions do not prevent it. Each participant will come provided with the necessary material, including the easel where the work will be displayed for the jury's evaluation. Participants must be responsible for collecting any waste they generate during the activity. Sixth. Requirements that the works must meet. The works will be carried out with free format and technique. The works will be identified by sealing their support at the time of registration. No participant will be exempt from sealing and identification of their work. The sealing will take place between eight and nine in the morning in the Plaza de Dalí, in the area set up by the organization. The competition organization reserves the right of admission. Only one work can be submitted per artist Seventh. Valuation criteria for awarding prizes. Prizes will be awarded based on originality, innovation, creativity, artistic quality and theme fit. Seventh. Amount. The total amount of the prizes amounts to 3,500 euros. Eighth. Other data. The theme will be about the District of Salamanca and its people, as well as the environment, streets <(>,<)> squares, fountains, parks, monuments, etc. and the technique and style will be free.
