Universitat Jaume I Extract from the Resolution of November 5, 2024, of the Vice-Rector for Research of the Universitat Jaume I, by which two scholarships for initiation into research are carried out by the project "ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF ALGORITHMS FOR DETECTION OF FRAUDULENT MANIPULATIONS IN IMAGES IN SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS (SCIMFAKE)" - Code 22I570 – Directed by: Filiberto Pla Bañón, University Institute of New Image Technologies. BDNS (795197) In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 28.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database: http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index First. Beneficiaries UJI students of the degree in Computer Engineering, Robotic Intelligence, Video Game Design and Development, Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology Engineering, who have passed at least 50% of the credits of the degree. Likewise, the applicant does not have to have passed all the credits included in the degree or the extra credits for which he or she has been able to enroll and must have Spanish nationality or be a national of a member state of the European Union or of another country not belonging to the EU with a residence or study permit in Spain and with valid identification documentation, at the time of joining the scholarship. Second. Purpose Obtain training and collaborate in the research project «ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT OF ALGORITHMS FOR DETECTION OF FRAUDULENT MANIPULATIONS IN IMAGES OF SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS (SCIMFAKE)» Third. Characteristics Research initiation scholarships with dedication of 15 hours per week and a gross monthly remuneration of 330 euros. The beneficiaries will be included in the General Social Security Regime. The planned duration is 8 months. Room. Regulatory bases Accessible at: http://www.uji.es/seu/info-adm/tao/ Quinto. Amount The overall amount allocated to awarding these scholarships is 5,440.96 euros. In accordance with the provisions of Law 1/2015, of February 6, of the Generalitat, of Public Finance, of the Instrumental Public Sector and of Subsidies, the annuity of expenses for future years is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the budget of the corresponding year. Sixth. Deadline for submission of applications Ten days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana.
