Official description of the call
First. Purpose The purpose of this call is the regulation of the procedure for the granting of subsidies, by the O Barco City Council, on a competitive basis, aimed at non-profit sports entities that: Are legally constituted for the development of their sports activity. They have their domicile in this municipal area, or who, without specifically having it, are carrying out their main work through a section located therein. Are developing specific work in the program(s) of this grant for which they wish to apply. To help defray the expenses that the development of their sporting activity is generating during the period between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024 in the following programs: PROGRAM 1: Transportation PROGRAM 2: Sports management and competition PROGRAM 3: Organization of sporting events Second. Beneficiaries They will have the status of beneficiaries in each of the programs: Program 1: Transportation Participate, in the season included in the period of this subsidy, in official competitions called by their respective federations, whatever their scope (excluding training sessions even if they are called by a federation). That these competitions involve transfer and transportation of the athletes and coaching staff, from the junior to senior categories, both included. Program 2: Sports management and competition Participate, in the season included in the period of this subsidy, in official competitions called by their respective federations, regardless of their scope, in the youth and senior categories (athletes born in 2007 and earlier with a maximum age of 35 years). Program 3: Organization of sporting events That the events organized by the club or sporting entity meet these criteria: -Events organized within the period included in this subsidy. -Events that are based on the O Barco City Council and that have an impact on the population of this municipal area. -Events aimed at federated and/or amateur athletes of all categories from youth to senior (athletes born in 2007 and earlier with a maximum age of 35 years), with impact and repercussions for the municipality of O Barco. Regular competition events such as leagues will not be considered sporting events. The requirements to request said aid will be: Be legally constituted and adapted as a sports club/association as established in Law 3/2012, of April 2, on Sports of Galicia. Have its registered office in the municipality of O Barco, or without having it, be carrying out its work through a section located in said municipality within a legally constituted sports entity with registered office in another municipal area (must be certified by the Federation corresponding to the modality developed by the entity, that in O Barco its main sporting work is being carried out). Regularly carry out your main sports practice in facilities (whether or not you own them) within the municipality of O Barco. Be up to date with your tax obligations with the State Tax Administration Agency, Autonomous Treasury, General Treasury of Social Security and the City Council of O Barco, respectively. Not be subject to any of the prohibitions to obtain the status of beneficiary of the subsidies provided for in article 10 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, and article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. Have duly justified the expenses corresponding to subsidies previously granted by the O Barco City Council. Third. Amount The financial allocation of the aid is established for the year 2025 (budget extended from 2024) in the following amounts for each of the programs: PROGRAM 1: Transport: €18,000 PROGRAM 2: Sports management and competition: €16,000 PROGRAM 3: Organization of sporting events: €2,000 in the budget application 340/48900 within of available credits.
