TALENTIUM JAEN 2025. CALL FOR GRANTS FOR PROFESSIONAL STAYS IN BRUSSELS

Official description of the call

First: Beneficiaries. To be eligible for the aid, participants must meet the following requirements: a) Be nationals of the Kingdom of Spain, another country in the European Union, or nationals of third countries, provided that they have legal residence in Spain and a valid passport on the date of the application. b) Unemployed persons registered with the Andalusian Employment Service on the date of submission of the application and during the period of execution of their professional stay. c) Employees registered with the Andalusian Employment Service to improve their employability, on the date of submission of the application, who must be unemployed during the period of execution of their professional stay. Those people who are doing internships in companies may also request it, as long as they are job seekers, and they conclude before the start of their stay in Brussels (Belgium). d) Be less than 30 years old and be of legal age on the date of submission of the application. e) Have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from the European Higher Education Area, or from Higher Level Vocational Training or Professional Certificate level 3, issued by the competent public administration in Spain or from the European Higher Education Area, or be able to obtain it in the 2024/2025 academic year. If they have been obtained abroad, they must either prove the European degree supplement or the approval by the Ministry of Education in accordance with current regulations, Royal Decree 967/2014, of November 21 and Order ECD/2654/2015, of December 3, which establishes the requirements and procedure for the approval and declaration of equivalence to a degree and at an official university academic level and for the validation of foreign studies. of higher education or regulations that replace it, on the date of submission of the application. f) Be registered in a municipality in the province of Jaén, with a seniority prior to January 1, 2025. g) Have a minimum accreditation of a level of B1 in English or French according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) on the date of submission of the application and accredit a minimum level of B2 in English or French prior to the beginning of the stay in Brussels. Those people who are in any of the following cases will be exempt from this requirement: * Who have a university degree in Philology, Translators and Interpreters, or in English or French Studies from a Spanish university, or the homologation in Spain of one of these degrees in the case of having obtained it abroad. * That they can prove completion of a complete academic course that in no case lasts less than 8 months at a University in an English- or French-speaking country, through an official certificate from the corresponding University, or from the University of origin in the case of international student mobility programs between Universities. * Who can prove residence in an English-speaking or French-speaking country for a minimum period of 12 months, through an official document from a public body of the corresponding country where the period of residence is expressly shown. * Nationals of an English-speaking or French-speaking country. h) Pass a test designed by the Employment and Business Area to evaluate the different aspects of linguistic competence in the English or French languages, such as reading and listening comprehension and oral production. In no case can passing this test replace the accreditation of the language level in accordance with the previous paragraph. Notwithstanding the above, the following requirements must be met prior to the start of the stay in Brussels (Belgium) once the subsidy granting resolution is issued, and to maintain the status of beneficiary, and must be documented within the period or periods established in said resolution: 1) Legal unemployment status updated after the resolution and prior to mobility; This situation must be maintained until the end of the 5-month stay in Brussels (Belgium).
