Official description of the call

In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Beneficiary entities Local entities of the Valencian Community may obtain beneficiary status, in the terms established in article 1 of Law 8/2010, of June 23, on the local regime of the Valencian Community, unless they meet in any of the circumstances provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is the granting of aid, on a non-competitive basis, aimed at adapting tourist spaces to climate change, conditioning and improving facilities for public use, promoting sustainable tourist mobility and improving the accessibility of tourist resources. Eligible actions must be classified in one of the programs established in Annex III of the resolution. The eligible actions within the framework of this call are detailed below: Program 1: Adaptation to climate change of tourist spaces through the provision of shade islands Aimed at the promotion of actions that aim to implement measures to adapt to climate change in tourist spaces through the provision of shade islands, among which are, but not limited to, the following: a) Acquisition and planting of shade trees, in the ground or in pots, on routes and public spaces for tourist attendance. b) Acquisition and planting of green roofs in routes and public spaces with tourist attendance. c) Acquisition and implementation of vertical gardens that generate shade on routes and public spaces with tourist attendance. d) Actions for the installation of awnings on routes and spaces of tourist attendance. e) Actions for the installation of other shaded structures on routes and spaces of tourist attendance, whose main objective is to generate shaded areas for users. Program 2: Improvement of equipment and facilities for awareness, protection and sustainable use of natural resources Aimed at investments aimed at improving equipment and facilities for public use for awareness, protection and sustainable use of natural resources, including, but not limited to, the following: a) Actions to condition and improve facilities for public use in existing nature interpretation and/or conservation centers and whose main purpose is awareness, protection and/or sustainable use of natural resources. b) Actions to condition deterrent spaces in natural areas and trails for tourist use in order to channel the pedestrian tourist influx to divert it from other areas of impact on biodiversity (environmentally sustainable rest areas, acquisition of litter bins and sources of drinking water with low environmental impact and integrated into the landscape, among others). c) Actions to install and improve information points in natural areas whose purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of the conservation of biodiversity, ecosystems and natural resources (interactive panels, among others). d) Actions to condition environmentally friendly fauna and flora observation points whose main purpose is the conservation of biodiversity, ecosystems and natural resources. Program 3: Sustainable tourist mobility: clean transport Aimed at actions to promote sustainable tourist mobility, among which are, but not exhaustive, the following: a) Acquisition and/or replacement of the current fleet of vehicles with zero-emission vehicles for public services linked to tourist activity. b) Acquisition and/or replacement of electric shuttle vehicles to access tourist spots. c) Acquisition and/or replacement of electric vehicles for beach cleaning, among other tourist spaces. d) Installation of charging points for vehicles or electric bicycles in tourist spots. e) Installation or improvement of bicycle lanes or cycle paths. f) Signage and adaptation of
