Official description of the call
BDNS: In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b and 20.8.a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the order calling for subsidies in 2025 for the implementation of the Young Researchers Program is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index) and on the website https://sede.comunidad.madrid. First. Objective To call, by 2025, subsidies from the "Young Researchers Program" for the hiring of young people, under 30 years of age, trained to carry out research projects as researchers, technologists, technical personnel and other professional profiles in R&D&I; facilitating their job placement in both the public and private sectors to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of research and innovation. Second. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of the subsidies provided for in this call are determined in the Order of July 26, 2024 of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies, intended for the financing of the "Young Researchers Program", of the Community of Madrid. Third. Financing 1. To fulfill the purpose established in this call, credit will be allocated from the General Budgets of the Community of Madrid, Budget Program 241M-Promotion and Promotion of Employment, Subconcept 47202 Active Employment Policies, in the amount of 6,000,000.00 euros which, in accordance with section 2 of article 4 of the Order of July 26, 2024 of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment, will have the following distribution: a) 4,000,000.00 euros for the development of research projects that do not have the character of economic activity, by research and knowledge dissemination organizations (public or private) in the terms of section 1 of article 19 of the Order of July 26, 2024 of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment. b) 2,000,000.00 euros for the development of research projects by companies and private entities that carry out economic activities, under the terms and with the limits of section 2 of article 19 of the Order of July 26, 2024 of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment. 2. The financing of these subsidies will be made from the funds distributed annually by the State Public Employment Service for management by the Community of Madrid, according to the criteria agreed upon at the Sectoral Conference on Employment and Labor Affairs. 3. The amounts initially authorized for each type of beneficiary, of the two types indicated in section 1 of this resolution, may be increased when the amount of the applications submitted for the other type of beneficiary, likely to be granted for meeting the requirements for access to the subsidy, is lower than the initially authorized expenditure, without in any case entailing an additional amount to the total credit authorized in the call. Room. Beneficiaries The following legal entities, with a work center in the Community of Madrid, may have the status of beneficiaries of the subsidy under the call made by this order, in accordance with section 1 of article 4 of the Order of July 26, 2024, of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Employment: a) Public research organizations defined in article 47 of Law 14/2011, of 1 June, Science, Technology and Innovation. b) Public universities, their university institutes, and private universities with demonstrated capacity and activity in R&D&i, in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21, of Universities, that are registered in the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees, created by Royal Decree 1509/2008, of September 12, which regulates the Registry of Universities, Centers and Titles. c) Public and private non-profit health centers and institutions, linked or in concert with the National Health System, that develop R&D&I activities. d) Biomedical or health research institutes accredited by ministerial order. e) State-level Technology Centers and Technological Innovation Support Centers
