Official description of the call

FIRST. PARTICIPANTS AND CATEGORIES. 1.- The father, mother or legal guardian of the minor winner may be the beneficiary of the prize, as the holder of the right to obtain it, through the direct participation of the minor, provided that they meet each and every one of the following requirements: 1.1.- Be up to date with their fiscal and tax obligations and, where applicable, with Social Security, and not incur in any of the cases established in articles 13.2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general of subsidies that disqualify her from receiving subsidies. 1.2.- Not having to justify, after the deadline, any subsidy previously granted by the Picassent City Council. 1.3.- Be up to date with tax obligations with the City Council. 1.4.- Be registered in the Municipality of Picassent since January 1, 2024. 2.- In addition to compliance by the applicant with the requirements set forth in the previous section; To obtain the prize, it is a necessary requirement that the minor participant be registered in Picassent. 3.-In the event of non-coexistence of the holders of the family book, the beneficiary of the prize will be the father or mother in custody of whom the minor has remained. The aforementioned assumption will have to be justified by means of a statement or documentation that proves it, and the City Council may carry out, through the relevant legal procedures, the necessary verifications that prove this fact. 4.-In no case may parents who are totally or partially deprived of parental authority over their children, or whose guardianship has been assumed by a Public Institution, be beneficiaries. 5.-The City Council establishes the following awards: • General award. The prize will consist of a trip to PortAventura for three people with a maximum purchase value of €200. • Prize for the best lantern with a theme related to Picassent. The prize will be a weekend trip for two people with a maximum purchase value of €100. SECOND. OBJECT, GRANT PROCEDURE AND BUDGET CREDIT 1.- These bases regulate, under a competitive competition regime, in accordance with article 22, point 1 of the General Law of Subsidies, the granting of the prizes awarded in the contest called "Fanalets-Picassent", which is held during the development of the Patron Saint Festivities 2025. 2.- The "fanalets" are small watermelons decorated according to tradition, which house light inside. The "fanalets" festival is a tradition shared by many towns in the Valencian Community. A party for the little ones in the house, who build their "fanalets" with small watermelons. 3.- The purpose of this contest is to promote the conservation and maintenance of popular traditions, as well as to encourage and promote cultural activities in general, also establishing prizes that can serve as an individual stimulus to encourage neighborhood participation in the activities that are scheduled for this purpose. 4.- The expense generated by the granting of the prizes provided for in these rules will be charged to the budget credit of item 600.33801.4810400 "Vallivana Awards" of the 2025 Municipal Budget. THIRD. REGULATORY BASES AND OFFICIAL JOURNAL IN WHICH THEY ARE PUBLISHED Regulatory ordinance of the specific bases, approved by agreement of the Municipal Plenary Session, in session on the date May 26, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 140 dated July 21, 2016 and subsequent modification published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia No. 141 of 07.24.2017. FOURTH APPLICATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION: DEADLINE, PLACE OF SUBMISSION AND DOCUMENTATION. They must be submitted between August 25 and September 3, 2025, both inclusive.
