ORDEN PEJ/ /2025, de 13 de agosto, por la que se realiza la convocatoria de subvenciones a las Asociaciones de Consumidores y Usuarios y otras entidades sin ánimo de lucro, para la realización de proyectos de protección o defensa en materia de consumo

Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. These subsidies may be requested by: - ​​consumer associations registered in the Registry of Consumer and User Associations of the Autonomous Community of Aragon, in accordance with the mandate of article 52.b) of Law 16/2006, which establishes as attributable benefits the receipt of public aid that is allocated in compliance with the obligations that correspond to them within the framework of consumer protection and promotion of their representative organizations or associations; - other non-profit entities framed as objects of priority attention and special protection by public powers under article 5.1 of Law 16/2006; those non-profit entities that provide or complement information and consumer service in the rural environment, guaranteeing equal rights throughout the Aragonese territory, in development of article 5.2 of Law 16/2006; those non-profit entities that have as objects of special attention products, goods and services mandated in article 6 of the merited Law 16/2006; entities, all of which are duly registered in the corresponding registry and to which, for their recognition as beneficiaries, the exclusions and incompatibilities legally applicable to consumer associations will be applicable. Second.- Object. Call for the granting of subsidies to consumer and user associations and other non-profit entities to finance, as a general object of the subsidy in accordance with article 2.1.c) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies: a) Promotion programs for consumer and user associations. These programs will have the purpose of ensuring the exercise of their functions of institutional representation and defense of the general interests of consumers and users, thus collaborating in their maintenance and normal operation. b) Specific projects in relation to the protection and defense of consumers and users, to be carried out during the eligible period of this call. Third.- Regulatory bases. ORDER PEJ/231/2025, of February 21, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of consumer subsidies. Fourth.- Amount. The maximum amount of aid for the financial year 2025 will amount to 349,000 euros, charged to the budget application 10190 G/4431/480063/91002 (Promotion of consumption) of the Budget of the Department of the Presidency, Economy and Justice for the financial year 2025. In the event that subsidies can be granted for an additional amount, it will not be necessary again. call, under article 58.2 of the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting subsidy applications is ten business days from the day following the publication of the Extract of the call in the Official Gazette of Aragon.
