Official description of the call
First. - Beneficiaries Individuals who are fathers, mothers, guardians, foster families or any other person who has parental authority or guardianship of one or more minors registered with the Arzúa City Council and who have schooling at the pre-school, primary or compulsory secondary levels in one of the educational centers of the Arzúa City Council may be beneficiaries of study support aid. They must also meet the following requirements: register with the Arzúa City Council, be up to date with the payment of tax obligations with the City Council, meet the requirements established in article 13 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, general on subsidies and not exceed the income established by the economic scale in base 7. Second. -Purpose. The purpose of the aid is to make effective the principle of equality in the exercise of the right to education and to compensate those families who, due to their economic conditions, have greater difficulties in meeting the expenses derived from the schooling of their sons and daughters, thus promoting actions that contribute to social well-being, alleviating social differences and the risks of social exclusion and favoring the integration of boys and girls into the educational system. Third. - Regulatory bases Those approved by the Local Government Board on August 14, 2025. Fourth. - Amount To finance this aid program, a credit amount of €10,000 is established, subject to the possibility that this aid can be extended, charged to the municipal budgets for the year 2025 in budget application 231.480.03. Fifth. - Application submission period The application submission period will remain open for 10 days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province.
