Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: All female athletes who meet the following requirements will be eligible for aid: - Be born in the Valencian Community or have a federation record in the Valencian Community in 2024. - Have participated in official competitions recognized by sports federations, at regional, national or international level, during the calendar year 2024. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this call is to recognize and reward the best athlete in the Valencian Community for her career, achievements and projection during the year 2024, as well as for her contribution to the visibility, promotion and consolidation of women's sports and gender equality in the field of physical activity and sports. This award is part of the promotion and awareness actions developed by the Càtedra de Dona i Esport, and its purpose is to highlight the role of women in sport, both from competitive excellence and from the commitment to the values of equality. Third. Regulatory bases: https://ir.uv.es/mK7DDD0 Fourth. Amount: The aid is financed from Chapter VII of the budget of the Càtedra de Dona i Esport of the Universitat de València for the year 2025, organic 9290162768 and specific 20250362, for an amount of two thousand euros (€2,000). The following aid will be awarded: First aid: endowed with €1,500. Second aid: endowed with €500. The corresponding personal income tax withholding will be applied to the aid based on current regulations. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) until October 31, 2025.
