SUBSIDY FOR THE PROMOTION OF EMPLOYMENT AND THE PROMOTION OF INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY IN CALATAYUD 2025

Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries. Entrepreneurs and legally constituted companies that establish and develop their activity in the municipality of Calatayud, and that certify the development of the business activity and that meet the requirements indicated in the fifth base of the call, will be able to access this type of aid. Second.- Object. Business investment projects that involve economic development for the city and that involve the creation of employment through the implementation of new companies and/or work centers as well as carrying out new projects by companies already established in the municipality of Calatayud, under a competitive competition regime, provided that they meet the requirements and conditions established in the bases. Third.- Regulatory Bases for subsidies and legal regime In the Municipal Ordinance approved in the Plenary Session of 11/29/2021 and modified in the Plenary Session of 02/27/2025, the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of employment and the promotion of industrial activity in Calatayud are established (BOPZ of February 4, 2022 and modification date in BOPZ: 05/07/2025). Legislative Decree 2/2023, of May 3, of the Government of Aragon, which approves the consolidated text of the Aragon Subsidies Law, and Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, will apply to this call. Fourth.- Financing The maximum total amount of the subsidies called is €100,000, which is attributed to Budget Application 422-77002 Industry-Promotion and promotion of employment and industrial activity in which there is sufficient and adequate budget allocation duly retained. Fifth.- Criteria for quantifying the amount The aid regulated in these Bases is subject to the budget availability recorded in the corresponding year. The amount of the subsidy will be calculated by applying the scaling criteria, established in article 9 of this Ordinance, to quantify the percentages of the subsidy set out below, based on the tax base of the cost of the investment. Between 75 and 100 points: 20% of the BI of the investment Between 51 and 74 points: 15% of the BI of the investment Between 30 and 50 points: 10% of the BI of the investment Less than 30 points: Not eligible for subsidy. These rules will be applied considering that in no case may subsidies be granted for an amount that, alone or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income or public or private resources, exceeds 80% of the cost of the subsidized projects or activities. Sixth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province. The full call will be published on the Calatayud City Council website http://www.calatayud.es and on the website: Seede.calatayud.es and on the notice board. The application form, as well as the rest of the standard forms to be completed by the applicant, will be made available to interested parties on the Calatayud City Council website, www.calatayud.es and at www.calatayudemprende.es. Seventh.- Eligible period. The actions subject to subsidy contemplated in this call must be carried out within the period between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. The rest of the issues are reflected in the Rules of the Call.
