FIRST. BENEFICIARIES. Extremadurans abroad may be beneficiaries of this aid, who have such consideration in accordance with the provisions of article 2.1 of Law 6/2009, of December 17, on the Statute of Extremadurans Abroad, who return to Extremadura permanently in accordance with the provisions of articles 3 and 20 of Presidential Decree 5/2020, of June 18 (DOE no. 120, of June 23), which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to facilitate the return to Extremadura of Extremadurans abroad and their families, and who also meet the following requirements: a) Having resided outside the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for a minimum period of three uninterrupted years immediately prior to the date of their return and that no more than one year has elapsed since the date of their return to Extremadura. b)Be registered and have effective residence in a municipality of Extremadura at the time of submitting the application. c) The income or gross income, computed annually from January to December, of the family unit does not exceed the annual economic limits, considered in twelve payments, established in article 20.d of the aforementioned Presidential Decree 5/2020, of June 18 SECOND. OBJECT. Aid aimed at facilitating the return to Extremadura of people from Extremadura abroad and their families (Program I). THIRD. REGULATORY BASES. Presidential Decree 5/2020, of June 18, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid to facilitate the return to Extremadura of Extremadurans abroad and their families. ROOM. AMOUNT. For the purpose of this call, a credit in the amount of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN THOUSAND EUROS (€115,000) will be allocated from the budget application, 220040000253C48000 with financing source CAG0000001 and expenditure project 20160008 “Aid for returnees and their families” from the General Budgets of the Community Autonomous Community of Extremadura for the financial year 2026. The minimum individualized amount of aid will be 1,500 euros. This amount may be increased by 350 euros due to the occurrence of each of the circumstances listed below, which are not exclusive: a) When the family unit has the status of a large family, recognized in accordance with Law 40/2003, of November 18, on the Protection of Large Families. b)When the applicant or a member of the family unit has a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%. c)When the applicant or a member of the family unit has been subjected to gender violence. d)When the applicant or a member of the family unit is a victim of terrorism. In this way, the maximum amount of aid may rise to a maximum of 2,900 euros. FIFTH. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS Applications for aid may be submitted from the day following the publication of this call and its extract in the Official Gazette of Extremadura until October 15, 2026.
