OBJECT AND PURPOSE: This call is aimed at subsidizing those people and family units residing in the city of Mairena del Aljarafe, who the Social Services verify are in a situation of sudden crisis, lacking sufficient economic resources and the necessary means to meet the existing basic needs, and who, if not attended to, could lead to other situations of greater difficulty or even situations of marginalization and social exclusion. CONCEPTS OF BENEFITS Debt contracted with the General Treasury of Social Security, when the applicant may be the beneficiary of some basic benefit for the survival of the family unit, once the debt is settled. Debts or payments related to housing: - Mortgage, loan or rental debts that serve to prevent its loss. - Temporary rental or alternative accommodation when the person or cohabitation unit lacks housing or it is not possible to remain in their habitual residence, and they do not have sufficient own or family resources. In all housing, including social housing, only debts generated within the execution period will be paid and very exceptionally one year before the program execution period. - Fire, floods, natural disasters: Concepts in household goods, home repairs or specific work as long as there is no home insurance to cover the damage caused. - Purchase of furniture, household goods and basic appliances when the applicant lacks these goods, as well as for installations or minor repairs in the home and cleaning of the home in serious cases and whenever they are of vital importance for the beneficiary or their cohabitation unit. - Specific housing work: Requests for specific housing work will only be assessed in the event that there are serious deficiencies that affect the habitability/safety of the home, and it is not possible to subsidize comprehensive housing rehabilitation works, or specific works that do not affect habitability. - Adaptation work in terms of accessibility and functional adaptation, when there are members of the family unit whose health status and/or disability requires such adaptation. For work concepts, it may be requested, if applicable, only for construction materials as long as it does not exceed the total of the concept. Needs related to Health and/or protection: - Travel expenses not covered by another administration, for attendance at hospitals for treatment of serious illnesses, or related to the protection of the beneficiary or others duly justified in the social report. - Devices, pharmaceutical expenses or duly accredited specialized treatments, such as orthopedic, ophthalmological, dental, etc., as long as they are not included in the coverage of the public health network and are accompanied by a medical prescription report. - Debts or payments for supplies: energy, water, or gas. Only debts generated within the execution period and exceptionally from the previous year will be accepted. - Basic food. - School supplies. Provided that the school material is necessary for the educational development of the minor and is not subject to free or subsidized by another Administration. Aid for training courses will not be accepted. - Other basic needs not provided for in the previous sections, valued as Emergency/Urgency, duly justified and specified by the Social Services. The concepts requested must refer to some basic need existing at the time of the request, not considering already resolved needs or future needs. Applications for the payment of fines, sanctions, taxes or fees will not be accepted (except urban solid waste rates that are integrated into water bills). In family units where there are underage members, priority will be given to covering the existing need through the Family Financial Aid regulated in the Order of November 6, 2023, of/or the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality, (AEF) provided that the requirements to be beneficiaries are met. REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICANTS: - Not have access to other aid from public administrations or own resources that cover the need for which it is requested.
